Denise Richards had a smile on her face outside court in Los Angeles amid her contentious divorce battle with estranged husband Aaron Phypers.
The Wild Things star, 55, made a dramatic appearance at Stanley Mosk Courthouse on Thursday in an all-black outfit featuring a skintight, long-sleeved top paired with a leather midi skirt and matching, peep-toe pumps.
Richards, who carried a studded leather clutch and wore oversize, cat-eye sunglasses over her eyes, was joined by her attorney and a buff bodyguard for the hearing.
Richards looked to be in high spirits despite Phypers's continued demands for spousal support amid his domestic violence charges, which he has pled not guilty to.
In contrast, Richards's estranged husband had a seemingly solemn expression on his face as he made his arrival to the courthouse shortly after her.
Phypers wore a light blue dress shirt with the top two buttons unfastened and layered the button-down with a zip-up jacket and a tweed coat.

Richards was married to Phypers for nearly seven years before he filed for divorce, citing 'irreconcilable differences,' in July 2025.
The estranged couple do not share any children together, though Phypers intended to legally adopt Richards' youngest daughter, Eloise Joni Richards, in 2019.
Richards previously adopted Eloise in 2011. In court documents amid the divorce battle, Richards claimed that Phypers signed adoption papers in 2019 but he alleged Richards 'failed to file' them.
Richards is also mother to two daughters - Sami Sheen, 21, and 20-year-old Lola Sheen - both of whom she shares with actor Charlie Sheen.
The actress was married to the Two and a Half Men star, 60, for four years, tying the knot in 2002, calling it quits in 2005 and finalizing their legal separation the following year.
Richards and Phypers have been embroiled in a messy, public split since their 2025 divorce filing.
In October, per documents obtained by TMZ, Phypers was charged with two felony counts of injuring a spouse as well as two additional felony counts of dissuading a witness by force or threat. His total bail was set at $200,000.

Last December, Phypers and his parents were evicted from the mansion he once shared with Richards.
His parents launched a since-deleted GoFundMe asking for support for their son after the court ruled in favor of the landlord, granting the property owner possession of the home following allegations of unpaid rent totaling over $84,000.
Phypers also previously claimed he was entitled to half of the money Richards made on OnlyFans while she accused him of domestic abuse - allegations he has since denied.
Richards accused her ex of physical assault and filed for a restraining order against him on the grounds of domestic violence.'
Earlier this week, Phypers filed legal paperwork, requesting Richards pay him spousal support due to his alleged financial strain and pending criminal case.
In court documents obtained by Page Six, Phypers claimed he needs her financial support because he does not have 'stable income' after his 'business operations and infrastructure' were 'disrupted in late 2024.'

He also insisted that he has a right to temporary spousal support as he needs to maintain a 'status quo' of 'financial fairness during litigation.'
Per the outlet, he also claimed his pending criminal and domestic violence case should not hinder him from getting spousal support.
He claimed the court is obligated to order his estranged wife to pay temporary spousal support in spite of his ongoing criminal case and restraining order as 'there has been no criminal conviction' yet.'
