Denise Richards' estranged husband Aaron Phypers has been ordered to pay a six-figure sum after failing to respond to a fraud lawsuit brought against him by widower Rupert Perry.

A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge granted a default judgment in the amount of approximately $160,000 against Phypers, according to TMZ

It comes after the so-called 'frequency medicine' practitioner was awarded $5,000-a-month in spousal support from Richards.

Perry, whose late wife Elina Katsioula-Beall had been a client of Phypers at his Malibu wellness center before her death from sarcoma cancer in May 2024, sued Phypers in November 2024 for alleged fraud and breach of contract.

Katsioula-Beall had sought alternative 'stem cell treatment' at Phypers' wellness center in June 2023 when she didn't respond to her traditional medical treatments.

According to Perry's lawsuit, Phypers told his client that his center's stem cell treatment could cure her cancer or make it more bearable at the very least. Perry claimed Phypers promised a 98 percent success rate and a 50 percent refund if the treatment was unsuccessful.

The default judgment comes after Richards was ordered by another judge to pay Phypers $5k-a-month in spousal support

The treatment didn't work, so said Perry, whose wife asked for a refund of $63,000, half of what she had paid.

Phypers allegedly ignored Katsioula-Beall's requests for a refund and continued to dodge re-paying after she died.

His holistic healing center, Quantum 360, reportedly shuttered its doors in early 2025.

Meanwhile, Phypers, 53, and Richards, 55, have been embroiled in a highly contentious divorce and legal battle since their separation in July 2024, involving financial and property disputes and allegations of domestic violence from both sides.

Richards was granted a five-year restraining order requiring him to stay 100 yards away from her.

However, Richards was ordered to pay Phypers' attorney fees in addition to temporary spousal support during the former couple's day in court on February 26.

The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star must cough up $25,000 in attorney fees towards Phypers' divorce proceedings and an additional $5,000 to a forensic accountant, per People.

She was told that she must adhere to a structured payment plan of $10,000 per month for March, April and May 2026.

The actress (pictured on Thursday) has also been in the spotlight for speaking about the facelift she had in June 2025, 'I wanted to put things back up, where they were before'

Richards was also ordered to pay Phypers temporary spousal support of $5,000 a month 'commencing March 5, 2026, and continuing in a like manner until further order of the court.'

The actress has also been under the spotlight recently for speaking to Allure about the facelift she had in June 2025.

'I wanted to put things back up, where they were before,' Richards revealed. 'I was terrified. Being in the public eye since my 20s, people know what I look like - a facelift is not something that I could hide.'

She added, 'It is night and day. It’s shocking, actually.'
