Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Gets New Official Streaming Home Next Week

The 2025 box office juggernaut heads to Hulu

After a year of waiting, Demon Slayer fans finally got to watch Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Infinity Castle at home when it landed on Crunchyroll in July. Its arrival on streaming came after a historic opening weekend at the domestic box office and a record-breaking theatrical run, which included it becoming the highest-grossing Japanese film of all time.

If you're in the mood to rewatch Infinity Castle (or check it out for the first time) but don't have Crunchyroll, you're in luck. On Monday, Disney announced Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle will be available on Hulu and Disney Plus (for bundle subscribers) starting Sept. 28. It'll join four seasons of the anime series on Hulu.

What is Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle about?

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle is a sequel to the four-season anime, directly continuing the events of the end of the show. It follows members of the Demon Slayer Corps as they dive into a pocket dimension (the Infinity Castle) in pursuit of the king of demons, Muzan. There, they fight in a series of flashy battles against Muzan's strongest demons, the Upper Moons. Infinity Castle is the first in a planned trilogy of movies adapting the manga's "Infinity Castle" arc, though the next two movies do not yet have release dates.

The 2025 film received a wave of positive reviews, and currently holds a 98% on Rotten Tomatoes. Polygon's Francesco Cacciatore was more down on Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle than most, writing in his review, "Infinity Castle is a spectacle, but not a great movie."
