Demi Moore, 63, sparks concern with slimmer-than-ever appearance at 2026 Actor Awards

Demi Moore has sparked concern after she arrived to the 2026 Actor Awards looking particularly slim.

The Oscar nominated actress, 63, made her grand entrance in a stunning gown by Schiaparelli, a strapless black dress featuring a crocodile print and elaborate white feathered train.

Moore's newly-chopped hair was slicked back away from her gorgeous complexion, which was touched up with blush, eye liner, and a pink lip tint.  

As stunning as Moore appeared on the red carpet, it was not her glamorous appearance that captured the attention of netizens but rather her slender physique.

After photos of Moore gracing the red carpet were released, X users raised their concerns about her trim figure and speculation she may have been on Ozempic to lose weight.

'Is she on Ozempic?' one user asked Grok.

'Too skinny,' one wrote.

'She... didn't look like this last year, did she?' another asked.

'Good grief is all of Hollywood on Ozempic?' one asked.

An X user asked if she was taking The Substance, the black market drug her character took to retain her youth in the 2024 body horror film of the same name.

'Is she actually on the substance?' another asked.

'Food must be very expensive in LA,' another asked.

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Moore for comment but have not yet heard back. 

Hollywood icon Moore is not nominated for any Actor Awards this year but in 2025 was an awards show favorite with her starring turn in The Substance.

Her portrayal earned her the Screen Actors Guild Award at last year's ceremony. 

The Actor Awards come after Moore's recent dramatic transformation. 

The star, who is famous for her long, sleek black hair, has entered a new era by chopping off her locks in favour of a new wavy bob cut. 

Moore's decision to get a bob cut comes despite her saying previously that she would never cut her hair as having long locks into her 60s was her own way of not conforming to patriarchal norms.   

'I've done everything to my hair. I've shaved it. I've dyed it. I've had a bob. When I'm not working, I try to do as little to it as possible,' she told People in 2022. 

'It's stressful even having someone touch it. If I don't have anywhere to go, I don't put heat on it—I just try to let it do its own thing. And I don't wash it too often,' she added.

She added that she's most comfortable now with her long hair, and that she gets 'tiny trims' or 'dustings,' though she said she'd be, 'hard-pressed' to cut it all off again. 

'I think now that I'm older, I also know, I don't have anything to prove. So if they really need my hair different, they can give me a wig,' she said, adding, 'also not as clear how it would grow back!'

She also added that having long hair into her 60s is her own way of not conforming to patriarchal norms.

'I remember hearing someone say that when women get older, they shouldn't have long hair. And something about that stuck with me,' Demi said.

'Like who says? It made me feel like, well, if it can grow and it's not unhealthy, then why shouldn't we?' she continued.

'I'm not comfortable with rules that don't seem to have any real meaning or justification,' she added.
