Travis Kelce Makes Surprise Appearance at Super Bowl 2026
Sasha Lawrence's doctor was ready for an assist.
Indeed, DeMarcus Lawrence's wife wasn't going to miss the chance to cheer on the Seattle Seahawks star as he faced off against the New England Patriots during Super Bowl 2026 on Feb. 8. But there was just one concern: She's 37 weeks pregnant with her sixth child.
That's why DeMarcus and Sasha had a plan for if she went into labor during the big game at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
"She also brought her doctor along," broadcaster Kaylee Hartung revealed during the championship game. "DeMarcus and his teammates had some deep conversations about what they'll do if his wife goes into labor during this game. His teammates said, 'It's not guaranteed you'll make another Super Bowl, but you can have another baby.'"
So, DeMarcus made a very tough decision.
"If she goes into labor, DeMarcus told me he will not be alerted," Kaylee shared. "That was Sasha's choice, so he told her, 'Whatever you got to do, this can't happen today.'"
Indeed, the 2026 Super Bowl is the 33-year-old's first time competing for the Vince Lombardi Trophy—and his first season with the Seahawks after playing for the Dallas Cowboys from 2014 to 2024.
And while he's riding this high, the linebacker has had Sasha by his side through it all, tying the knot in Dallas in 2019. The pair went on to welcome son Damari and two daughters, who joined her kids Mariah and Kal-El from a previous relationship, according to People.

DeMarcus credits Sasha with keeping him grounded off the field.
“My wife is taking care of home,” he said during a press conference in 2020. “I respect her so much. I know she’ll do a great job. I just got to focus on football right now and when I’m able to get back home, I’ll be there.”
Of course, she is also his biggest cheerleader, sharing her pride when he advanced to the Super Bowl in January.
"Only God could write this story," she wrote on Instagram. "I am extremely happy for my husband… WHAT A DREAM!! through every high and low, God was faithful. Thank you to everyone who stayed in our corner. LAW FAMILIA IS SUPER BOWL BOUND!!!"
