Deadliest Catch star Jake Anderson announced his shock divorce from wife Jenna after 13 years of marriage.
The 45-year-old TV personality - who tied the knot with Jenna back in 2012 - shared the news on the upcoming season 22 premiere of Deadliest Catch which is set to air on Friday, May 8.
Anderson and Jenna have also welcomed three children during the course of their marriage: Aiden, 11, Cadence, eight, and Luka, six.
'After 17 years being together, 13 years married, Jenna and I have decided to call it quits,' he revealed during the episode, per People.
The fisherman explained that the split was the result of 'a lot of things' before sharing, 'The major one is that I'm gone too much crab fishing.'
He also added, 'But I got three little ones that need to eat, that have to go to school, that have to have doctor's appointments, and I don't have a job.'

Anderson also revealed that while filming the new season back in fall 2025, both he and Jenna had already been separated for eight months.
The former couple first crossed paths in 2009 at a festival that had been taking place in Seattle.
He previously recalled the moment and explained that he had been doing shipyard duty at the time, per Screener TV.
'All these people were coming up to get autographs. I had just walked out, and Jenna came up.'
When he gave Jenna an autograph, he had written the message, 'You're beautiful.'
And then after her nieces persuaded her, Jenna gave her phone number to the TV personality.
'I was trying to stay out of trouble, so I was living on the boat. I wasn't going out and spending money; I was trying to save my money,' Anderson said.
'She started calling me, and I started calling her, for a few weeks. We fell in love.'

Jenna previously gave insight into Anderson's romantic proposal during an interview with TLC.
They had been near a lookout point as the sun was setting and he told her 'how much he loved me and how wonderful the previous three years had been.'
She continued, 'As he was doing this, I began shaking and praying to myself, "I really hope he's about to propose." Before I knew it, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.'
Jenna expressed that she had been so excited that she said 'yes' before he could even pull out the ring.
And then three years later, the pair said 'I do' during a ceremony that had been officiated by Deadliest Catch co-star Sig Hansen.
Anderson and Jenna also welcomed three kids after tying the knot.

Anderson got candid about how being a dad altered his outlook on life.
'I can't do a lot of things that I used to do so freely,' he explained at the time. 'It [being a father] really pushes me to further my career in the wheelhouse, any wheelhouse.'
He added, 'It's so dangerous, and it's so hard on my wife and my child that I'm actually really scared.'
Also during the upcoming season 22 premiere of Deadliest Catch, Anderson is seen going through other personal struggles.

'I don't want you investing any more money in your ownership interest in the Titan Explorer because that could end up being an asset that needs to be divided in the case,' the attorney said.
Anderson, who has starred on Deadliest Catch since 2007, also becomes captain of late Phil Harris' boat called the Cornelia Marie.
'I worked on it before. I was young, had just met Jenna, was getting yelled at all the time. Life was hard for me,' the fisherman expressed.
Season 22 of the documentary reality series is set to premiere on May 8 on the Discovery Channel.
