Jennifer loves TV, especially science fiction. She also loves late-night talk shows, due to her insomnia. Alien: Earth is definitely one of her favorite shows, and she jumps on any chance she gets to write about it. Even on her days off, she will claim an Alien Earth article if one is available.

Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon are two of her favorite late-night hosts, and Conan O'Brien before he left his show.

Her Alien: Earth coverage for ScreenRant is by far the work that she is most proud of so far.

She was initially a finance and political editor, but her passion for pop culture convinced her to transition into entertainment journalism.

During her off time, she loves to binge-watch cooking shows such as Kitchen Nightmares. Jennifer also loves spending time with her daughter and cherishes every moment of it.

Lanterns dropped a brand-new preview just in time for San Diego Comic-Con.

Lanterns is an upcoming HBO series that was created by Chris Mundy, Damon Lindelof, and Tom King. The show will follow two Green Lanterns, Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler) and John Stewart (Aaron Pierre). The project is produced by DC Studios in association with Warner Bros. Television.

Ahead of tomorrow's Lanterns trailer debut at San Diego Comic-Con 2026, a new wave of tie-in Funko POP! figures from Entertainment Earth has offered fans an early look at several characters from the upcoming DC series. The lineup includes John Stewart, Sinestro, and Hal Jordan in his Green Lantern costume. The outfit appears to be a murky green color that resembles what fans have seen in other previews for the show. The superhero also features his signature mask.

The Funko figures also reveal what Sinestro will look like in Lanterns. The iconic Green Lantern villain will have his classic purple skin as he does in the comic books. The merchandise has fans of DC Comics hopeful that the upcoming adaptation will remain true to its source material. The antagonist's white uniform also supports the theories that have been circulating on the internet about how the TV show's iteration of the character will be imprisoned by the Green Lantern Corps.

In the comics, Sinestro wears the white Sciencell prison uniform during two major Green Lantern storylines. One of the most popular versions of the character comes from Green Lantern #26-28 (2008), written by Geoff Johns and art by Mike McKone with inks by Andy Lannin, which takes place after the Sinestro Corps War. Following his defeat, the villain has his yellow power ring taken away from him and gets imprisoned. Throughout the story, he is shown wearing a plain white uniform.

The outfit appears again in War of the Green Lanterns: Aftermath #1-2 (2011), written by Tony Bedard with art by Miguel Sepulveda and Tyler Kirkham. He is once again locked up in Sciencells while the Guardians of the Universe decide his future. The events of the comics ultimately paved the way for the beginning of DC's New 52 era.

Lanterns will be released on August 16, 2026, on HBO and Max. The Funko POP! figures are available for preorder now.
