Davina McCall strikes an uncanny resemblance to Maura Higgins as she transforms herself in dark brunette wig

Davina McCall transformed herself into one of the UK's favourite reality stars as she unveiled a new look on Monday. 

The TV presenter, 57, showed off her uncanny resemblance to I'm A Celeb star Maura Higgins as she tried on a dark brunette curled wig. 

Beaming in the snaps, Davina proved she suits long locks as well as short as she posed with her hand on her hip. 

The star teamed up with her partner Michael Douglas for the fun Instagram as she revealed the different wigs she tried on for her new Masked Singer hairstyle.

The TV star showed off the final look on Sunday night as she debuted a blonde pixie cut.

But it turned out that there were other options in the mix as her hairstylist partner showed them off in a video on his Instagram.

As well as the brunette wig she also tried on one with grey curls and even a red style while posing for the camera. 

He penned in the caption: 'Prepping hair for the new season of the masked singer which is due to start recording in September. 

'As you know, @davinamccall looks great in the right kind of wig/hair piece, so I took a trip to @amberjeanshop to do some research. 

'I couldn’t recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for a very high quality wig with help, advice, guidance and support, and a great price. I know it’s expensive still, but the quality for the price is perfect. 

'We gonna do more work with Amber in the coming months to help anyone one out there who needs or is thinking about a wig for a specific problem or just for fun. stay tuned.

Davina looked almost unrecognisable as she debuted a new blonde pixie cut for the new series of The Masked singer on Sunday, after undergoing brain surgery.

In a first look snap from upcoming episodes she beamed as she showed off her gorgeous new do alongside new judge Maya Jama, 30. 

The presenter underwent brain surgery last month after revealing she had a 'very rare' colloid cyst that affects only three in a million people. 

Davina also slipped into a striking pink and black zebra print skintight minidress, complete with a strapless corset bodice. 

It was revealed earlier this year that Maya would be replacing Rita Ora on the panel as she joined Davina, Jonathan Ross, Mo Gilligan and host Joel Dommett. 

And now the Love Island host, 30, has been seen alongside Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan in a first look snap of the new panel.

She paired the racy garment with a black metallic bralet and a matching low-rise midi skirt layered over the bodysuit.

ITV confirmed in October that The Masked Singer has been recommissioned for both a sixth and seventh series. 

Alongside Maya, there will also be another new addition to the show as Bandicoot production confirmed a brand new spin off series, The After Mask. 

Hosted by KISS FM presenter Harriet Rose, the new show will be available to watch on ITVX and The Masked Singer UK YouTube channel and will feature a further fix of masked-related mayhem.

Filmed straight after the main show, the party atmosphere continues on The After Mask, and will feature interview with the judges and host Joel, as well as exclusive unmasking interviews with the celebrity singers. 

It comes after  Davina broke down in tears as she took to the stage to give an emotional speech at the Brain Tumour Research Campaign last Thursday evening.

And the star made her first public appearance since her operation as she attended the event at All Saints Church, Fulham to support her neurosurgeon Kevin O'Neill.

Tearing up in the speech she began: 'I'm crying already, that didn't go well'.

In the short clip she continued: 'I know lots of you here are on your own brain tumour journey and many of you have lost loved ones to a brain tumour.

'I lost my sister to a brain tumour in 2012 and my ex father in law a year ago.'   

Davina's sister Caroline died age 50 in 2012 after she was diagnosed with lung cancer, bone cancer and was told by doctors that she had two tumors on her brain.

After the emotional evening, the star beamed in snaps as she was joined by her partner Michael Douglas and surgeon Kevin O'Neil who performed the procedure. 

Thanking Davina for her attendance at the event, Brain Tumour Research Campaign shared snaps from the event as they praised her 'courage and grace'. 

They penned: 'What a truly magical Christmas celebration evening! A HUGE thank you to everyone who joined us in making this event so special.'

'Our evening began with our incredible Chairman, Kevin O’Neill setting the tone with his warmth and passion.

The new series of The Masked Singer starts on 4th January at 7pm on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player.
