As filming gets underway for David Boreanaz's reboot of the 1974 detective show The Rockford Files, original star James Garner's daughter is now speaking out.

Garner's daughter, Gigi Garner, revealed that production has begun for The Rockford Files reboot and praised Boreanaz for being able to capture the same spirit that her father brought to the character. In a post on X, she admitted that she was "astounded when I saw David literally channel my dad!" Gigi acknowledged that fans might have strong opinions on the series being remade, but she wants everyone to "wait until you see the show. PLEASE STAY TUNED!"
