Dave Grohl appeared downcast as he stepped out for a lowkey errand run in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The Foo Fighters frontman, 55 - who called off his divorce from Jordyn Blum last month following his cheating scandal - also opted to not wear his wedding ring as he picked up a few items at a local gas station.

Just three months earlier, the star revealed that he had fathered a secret love child outside of his 21-year marriage to Blum.

During the daytime outing, Dave kept it casual sporting a long-sleeved, black shirt as well as a pair of green shorts.

He additionally added a black cap on top of his head while a pair of shades were placed on the neckline of the shirt.

Grohl was seen purchasing few packs of a cigarettes as well as a hot drink before heading to his next destination - not long after the Foo Fighters reportedly 'cancelled' plans for a summer tour next year.

It was announced that Muse, Linkin Park, Scorpion and KoRn will headline the upcoming music festival in France called Hellfest.

The founder and director of the annual event, Ben Barbaud, opened up about securing Muse as a headliner during an interview with Le Parisien - and briefly brought up the Foo Fighters.

'They were offered to me on a platter,' he said of Muse, per NME. 'A month ago, I was offered to program them with a handful of other European festivals.'

Barbaud then added, 'Foo Fighters having cancelled their summer tour, Muse was called in as reinforcements.'

'I accepted because I was missing a headliner on Friday and because the Hellfest audience is more and more open. With age, I too have matured, I am less sectarian.'

Earlier this year in June, the Foo Fighters notably headlined the Hellfest music festival alongside other rock bands, such as Metallica.

But in September, the Foo Fighters abruptly cancelled their performance at the  Soundside Music Festival in the wake of Grohl's cheating and secret baby scandal.

A statement at the time read: 'Foo Fighters will no longer be appearing at this weekend's Soundside Music Festival. Please check the festival website for more information.'

Later that same month, it was reported that the band is 'set to take a hiatus' as the singer works to 'earn back the trust of his family.'

At the time, a source told The Sun, 'The band need time to be with their families and focus on regrouping.'

'It's been a turbulent few years, with the loss of their best friend, drummer Taylor Hawkins, the death of Dave's mom and now the birth of his new child.'

'He wants to be at home and focus on earning back the trust of his family. Being on the road isn't the best thing for any of them at the moment. It feels like a hiatus is the best thing for them collectively,' the insider added.

On September 10, he took to social media to make the shock announcement that he welcomed a baby girl outside of his marriage and 'plans to be a loving and supportive parent to her.'

The musician also expressed that he is working to 'regain' the 'trust and forgiveness' of his wife and children.

Dave tied the knot with Jordyn in 2003 and the pair share three children: Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.

A source previously told People that Blum had known about the singer's love child 'for a while' before he publicly admitted to the affair on Instagram.

On September 10, he took to social media to make the shock announcement that he welcomed a baby girl and 'plans to be a loving and supportive parent to her'

'She was shocked when she found out about the baby. Her friends are like family, and they rallied around her,' the insider further explained to the outlet.

'Dave's flirty behavior has been a hurdle in their marriage. It's been hurtful to Jordyn,' the source added.

While some were surprised by the baby news, others were less than shocked, another insider informed the publication.

'We keep reading over and over again how heartbroken everyone is because Dave was supposed to be the "good guy," the rockstar that didn't have to do those rockstar things.'

'And people are crazy about the guy, but there is a rockstar side,' the source said, adding the Grohl and Blum 'felt like an opposites attract type of [relationship].'

Last month in November, Dave notably called off his divorce lawyer in the hopes to 'work things out' with his wife.

A source informed People, 'He's no longer working with a divorce attorney and instead hoping to work things out with his wife.'

A separate insider also stated that the performer 'loves his family' and added, 'Dave's been prioritizing his family.'

'He knows he messed up. It's one of those situations where you don't realize what you have until you're about to lose it. He doesn't want to lose his family.'

In October, a source told DailyMail.com that Blum was in a 'state of confusion' after learning of her husband's affair and fathering a secret love child.

'One day Jordyn Blum is ditching her wedding ring and vowing divorce from cheating husband Dave Grohl.'

In October, a source told DailyMail.com that Blum was in a 'state of confusion' after learning of her husband's affair and fathering a secret love child; seen in 2016 in West Hollywood

'The next she's at home wearing the ring and sobbing because she doesn't want the marriage to end,' the insider continued.

Some of her close friends had also staged an intervention for her, with the source stating they, 'have begged her to move forward with the split. Not to go back with him at any cost. There were lots of tears during the session.'

However, due to being in a 'state of confusion' at the time, Blum was unable to give a clear decision about what she intended to do.

Last month, Jordyn was seen flashing a smile while arriving to LAX airport - and opted to not wearing her wedding ring.
