Danni Warren doesn't appreciate the way producers edited her storyline on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, and she just made her opinion loud and clear on social media. The new reality TV star joined Bravo for Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5, but her storyline has been anything but smooth sailing. Danni was accused of being the villain for the way she's been feuding with Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher. This behavior, which also includes accusations the stew is not taking her job too seriously and always complains, led to speculation she could be the second cast member fired after Emma Crouch.

Danni Warren claimed she doesn't deserve to be portrayed as a villain on Below Deck Sailing Yacht.

Danni came across a Screen Rant article that made the case that she doesn't deserve to be portrayed as a villain on Sailing Yacht, like the producers are allegedly doing. So she shared the argument on her Instagram Stories and added a caption that said, "...Imma just leave this here." While Danni didn't blatantly criticize the producers for giving her a bad edit, her pointed caption made it clear where she stands on this topic.

What Danni Warren Playing The Victim Means Amid Below Deck Backlash

Danni Might Not Want To Return Next Season

Danni's words were just cryptic enough that she can escape the wrath of the producers when the time comes to start casting for Sailing Yacht season 6, should she want to return. It's interesting, though, that she's not waiting until the season ends to start making bold accusations against the producers over the way they may have portrayed her. It's possible she has no intention of returning next season; if that's the case, there are no worries on her part to play nice with producers.

On Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Daisy is Danni's superior. There is a hierarchy on the yacht that should be followed. Lower-level members of the crew shouldn't be trying to feud with their bosses. If there are issues that need to be resolved, then those conversations can be had without them morphing into an all-out brawl. Then again, Below Deck is a reality show and the drama will always be played up, so it's not surprising to see someone like Danni butting heads with Daisy.

Danni Can't Control How Producers Portray Her

If Danni is receiving a bad edit from the producers, unfortunately, there's not much she can do about that. Producers on every reality show are given the leeway to create narratives and storylines that suit their objectives. A feud between Danni and Daisy fits in with the petty arguments and drama that are typically seen on the Below Deck shows. If Danni returns next season, it's possible she could have a redemption arc, but chances are she'll be treated the same way, regardless of whether it's warranted.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.
