Dance Moms star Christi Lukasiak faced backlash after sharing a video urging her followers to vote and seemingly endorsing Kamala Harris

The reality TV star, 47, posted a clip to her Instagram on Friday, telling her 2.6M followers: 'We are in the final countdown to the election, and I need you to hear me out. Because literally everything is on the line. From protecting our reproductive rights to the future of the Supreme Court and so much more.'

'This election, it's about so much more than the candidates on the ballot. It's about our democracy, our rights, out freedom to make decisions about our own bodies. And the kind of future we want to live in.'

Lukasiak — who was arrested for a DUI in July — added: 'We can't afford to sit this one out. Our rights depend on it. Let's show up and make history.'

However, her followers were less than thrilled about the political message, with one writing: 'I wish you could have kept your vote to yourself.'

Others blasted her for being privileged, writing: 'What would you know about affording a house, gas, cars, groceries, bills? YOU’RE RICH YOU HAVE NO CLUE!!'

'You have no idea what you’re talking about,' yet another one wrote.

Many of her followers revealed they were not voting for the Democratic candidate, and instead casting their vote for Donald Trump as the next president.

'I'm sorry did you not notice that like 80 percent of your comment section is voting for Trump the last time you did this?' another commentator asked.

'You would have thought she would have learned by now with these posts,' someone else chimed in.

'All y’all rich, "famous" people sound so uneducated when you post these videos.'

The comments continued, with yet another follower writing: 'I’m voting for affordable groceries, a safe country, and a country where my daughters can feel safe in their own restroom and sports.'

Someone else made a play on Christi's plea to promote a different message, writing: 'Right people can’t afford to sit this one out TRUMP 2024.'

'Trump 2024. Or you won't have a country Christi,' another wrote.

Lukasiak captioned the clip: 'So much is on the line this Election Day. Let’s fight for our future, our democracy, and our freedom. Make your plan to vote on November 5, and let’s make history together. ✨ #Vote2024.'

She previously made a similar video in October, and her comments were flooded with similar messages.

It's been a tough year for Lukasiak. Earlier in July she was arrested for a DUI after 'crashing her car into a tree' in Pennsylvania.

Christi, who appeared on four seasons of the hit Lifetime reality series alongside her daughter Chloe, 23, is understood to have been booked by cops on June 27 after getting into a wreck, which 'left a telephone pole hanging over her car', according to TMZ.

The outlet, which obtained a copy of the Westmoreland County police report, said that cops noted Christi had 'bloodshot and glassy eyes, and slurred speech' and that one of the officers 'reported the smell of alcohol on her breath'.

Mom-of-two Christi is said to have admitted to consuming two glasses of wine before getting into her car, according to the police report, and submitted to a preliminary breath test, which was positive.

Officers also asked her to perform several field sobriety tests, which are said to have indicated that she was impaired and unable to safely operate her car.

During her time in the show, Christi was often seen enjoying a glass of wine with the other moms and would often make jokes about being drunk.

On one occasion in season three, dance teacher Abby Lee Miller suspended Christi and her daughter Chloe from the team after the mother-of-two got into an altercation with another mom in the street in New Orleans while enjoying a day of drinking.

While reflecting on her time in the reality series to Huffington Post in 2012, she slammed rumors that she was a 'huge drinker.'

'If there's one thing I would go back and change about last season it would have to be my jokes about drinking,' she wrote. It's just what I do, I'm very sarcastic.

'My joking, coupled with a few scenes of me and Kelly having a glass of wine, really created an uproar that I was a huge drinker.

'Not the case. I don't even have a bottle of wine in my home.

'But I do enjoy having a cocktail with friends, I'm a grown up. But I would definitely change that perception if I could.'
