Crimson Desert Limited-Time Free Twitch Drops Are Coming
Now to celebrate the upcoming launch of Crimson Desert later this week, Twitch is teaming up with Pearl Abyss to offer players the chance to get their hands on some free goodies. Announced by Pearl Abyss itself, Twitch users can earn these free items simply by watching participating streams for a certain amount of time. This will include in-game cosmetics, resources that can give you a boost in the early game, and more.
Although Pearl Abyss has yet to reveal the exact dates for the giveaway's schedule, we do know what freebies you can earn, and how long you will have to watch a participating streamer to grab each one. Split into two weeks, the first week will see you earn Modest Braised Beef x10 and the Blue Scout Lantern for watching for one hour. At two hours, you can earn the Blue Scout Earring, Blue Scout Necklace, and Blue Scout Ring. At three hours, the Blue Scout Shield, and finally, at four hours, you can bag yourself the Blue Scout Cloak, Blue Scout Armor, and Blue Scout Hat.
In week two, one hour of watching a participating stream will earn you the Blue Scout Stirrups, two hours get you the Blue Scout Champron, and finally, at three hours, you will earn the Blue Scout Saddle, so that both you and your mount can tackle Pywel in style.
Crimson Desert Launches This Week
As mentioned, Crimson Desert launches on 19 March, and with the Pearl Abyss title expected to be one of the biggest releases of the year, it remains to be seen if it will live up to the hype. Its predecessor, Black Desert Online, has welcomed hordes of fans since its release back in 2017, so it is safe to say that its standalone sequel has a lot to live up to. However, with potential performances issues already worrying players, could this be another disastrous launch for the history books? Or will Crimson Desert see itself become a Game of the Year contender? Luckily, we do not have long to find out.
