Courteney Cox has attempted to contact her late costar Matthew Perry ‘multiple times’ since his death last year.

The Friends actress, 60, has gathered loved ones for Ouija board evenings as she reportedly believes there are ‘unanswered questions’ about his life and death.

Perry died, aged 54, in October 2023 after he was found unresponsive in a hot tub at his LA home.

‘Courteney has gathered a bunch of friends over multiple times and has organized Ouija board evenings to get in touch with Matthew,’ an insider told DailyMail.com exclusively.

‘She believes there are still many unanswered questions about his life and death, and she wants to get to the bottom of it.’

Courteney Cox has attempted to contact her late costar Matthew Perry ‘multiple times’ since his death last year, insiders have told DailyMail.com

Perry’s death was determined to have been caused by 'acute effects’ of ketamine, which is used as an anesthetic and a treatment for depression, anxiety and pain.

In August, five people who allegedly supplied Perry with the drug were arrested.

Doctors Salvador Plasencia, 42, and Mark Chavez, 54, alleged drug dealers Jasveen 'Ketamine Queen' Sangha, 41, and Eric Fleming, 54, and Perry's live-in assistant Kenneth Iwamasa, 59, have all been charged.

The source claimed Cox’s attempts to make contact have failed, but she is determined to keep going.

‘So far the Scream star hasn’t managed to contact Matthew, she plans to continue the seances until she does,’ they added.

Cox is no stranger to the supernatural having previously taken part in a séance with song writing legend Carole King.

The actress once moved into a house in Laurel Canyon in Los Angeles – previously owned by King and Gypsy Rose Lee – which she believed was haunted.

‘So Carole King came over to my house, and she said that there had been a divorce that was really ugly and there was a ghost in the house,’ Cox told Jimmy Kimmel in March 2022.

The actress, 60, paid tribute to Perry on the first anniversary of his death this week. 'Missing you today and always,' she captioned her post (pictured)

She said she moved out the day after a UPS driver claimed he knew the house was haunted because he could see a figure standing behind her when she answered the door to him.

The Scream actress was among Perry’s costars marking the one-year anniversary of his death on Monday.

Cox shared a throwback picture of herself and the late actor on Instagram and wrote: ‘Missing you today and always.’

Jennifer Aniston, 55, also posted a series of never-before-seen pictures alongside the name of his foundation and the words: '1 year.'

Matt LeBlanc, 57, was pictured looking disheveled hours after the anniversary, marking one of only a handful of public appearances he has made since Perry died.

The images sparked concerns that he may be 'unravelling.'

DailyMail.com reported that the former Joey star has quietly retired in the wake Perry’s death which reaffirmed how ready he is to reevaluate his life.

'Matt is still upset over the loss of Matthew,' a source said. 'Such an important part of his life and a good friend is gone.

'It has made him rethink his life. He wants to focus on other interests as that’s what is important to him right now.'

LeBlanc has not appeared in any film or TV projects since the Friends HBO reunion special in 2021, previously saying he was 'taking some time off.'

His last acting gig was as Adam Burns on CBS series, Man with a Plan, between 2016 and 2020.
