Coronation Street's Katie McGlynn wows in a skimpy blue bikini as she shares Instagram summer dump after hard launching her reconciliation with ex Max Bowden

Katie McGlynn made sure to show off her jam-packed summer as she took to Instagram in her swimwear on Sunday night. 

The former Coronation Street actress, 33, showed off her impressive physique in a skimpy light blue bikini while relaxing on a sunbed. 

Accessorising with a white baseball cap, shades and sipping on a cocktail, she captioned the selection of snaps: 'Overdue summer dump.' 

Earlier this month Katie hard launched her EastEnders star ex Max Bowden on Instagram after they secretly reunited earlier this year. 

And the star continued to share snaps of their summer together as Max commented: 'The best' alongside a love heart as Katie sent back: 'Twas indeed'. 

Back in April it was reported that the actress had got back together with soap star Max, 31, following their split in 2025.

The couple had enjoyed a brief romance after they starred in the same play, Murder at Midnight, but called it quits in December.

But taking to social media, Katie proved that the pair were firmly back on track earlier this month as they enjoyed a wild weekend together at Manchester Pride.

Documenting their time, Katie shared several shots of herself enjoying the festivities including one of her smiling alongside Max, who pulled a funny face. 

Katie, who played Sinead Tinker in the ITV soap, glammed up in a sheer sparkly black top and silver miniskirt, later swapping her top for a funky T-shirt.

Meanwhile, Max who portrayed Ben Mitchell in BBC's EastEnders kept things casual in a white T-shirt and a matching baseball cap worn backwards. 

Back in April it was reported that the pair had reignited their relationship, with the EastEnders actor spending time at her house in Manchester.

'Katie and Max had a whirlwind romance last year but sadly things didn’t work out. They remained friends and over the last couple weeks decided to give things another go,' a source told The Sun at the time. 

'There was a lot of attention on their relationship so they were hoping to keep things private this time around.'

Back in December, it was reported the pair had a whirlwind romance while they were on tour.  

Katie and Max were seen at the time having a steamy kiss during a night out in Worcestershire after an evening performance at Malvern Theatre. 

A source told the publication at the time: 'Max and Katie have been around each other for years. They were in the soap world for so long where everyone knows each other.

'They've got loads in common and both have found themselves single at the same time as doing the tour.

'They get on well and have been spending time together - it's clear they've got chemistry. Who knows what the future holds?'

Katie’s ex, TOWIE star Ricky Rayment, was said to be left devastated by their public kiss after she moved on quickly following their failed relationship. 

The actress, who left Corrie in 2019 after her character Sinead Tinker died of cervical cancer, split from Ricky in July 2025 after two years of dating. 

Meanwhile, Max and his ex Tori Allen-Martin went their separate ways last September after meeting when they starred together in the musical Midnight Cowboy. 

The former couple were said to have been 'inseparable' during the show's run but split ahead of his brief soap return as Ben Mitchell.
