Coronation Street favourite Owen Armstrong is returning to the cobbles – over a decade after leaving Weatherfield back in 2015.
Actor Ian Puleston-Davies first joined the soap back in 2010, originally joining to try to reconcile with his two daughters Izzy (Cherylee Houston) and Katy (Georgia May Foote).
He later employed Izzy's boyfriend Gary Windass (Mike North) and began a relationship with his mum Anna (Debbie Rush).
After five years of drama, Owen packed his bags after his relationship with Anna broke down and his business collapsed thanks in part to Pat Phelan. He went to Portugal before settling in Scotland.
However come January, fans can get ready for Owen's return, with the actor due to start filming his dramatic return next week.
Gary Windass may be facing months behind bars for helping Sarah Platt cover up Theo's murder, but that might feel like the safest place to be when he discovers Owen is back.

Less than impressed with the actions of his daughter's former partner, Owen is determined to help Izzy and grandson Jake and makes it very clear he blames Gary for his family's misfortune as he announces he is moving back to live with them.
But what does Owen's surprise appearance mean for Gary and the future of his business?
Since leaving Coronation Street, Ian has starred in a number of high-profile dramas, directed feature films and continued with his successful writing career.
Commenting on his return, Ian said: 'I can't wait to pick up where I left off ten years ago! It's brilliant to be back and to get stuck into a cracking storyline.
'Owen's back and he's still angry!'
Coronation Street producer Kate Brooks welcomed Ian back saying: 'We're thrilled that Ian is back, and Owen brings a ton of drama.
'As he joins forces with an unlikely alliance, he wreaks havoc on the Street, and his relationship with Gary is severely put to the test. Needless to say, there's never a dull moment when Owen's around.'
Theo's death sparked a massive whodunnit that became the biggest mystery on the Corrie cobbles in months.
The possible suspects were revealed to be Todd Grimshaw, Gary Windass, Summer Spellman, George Shuttleworth, Christina Boyd and Danielle Silverton.
Each character had a motive to murder Theo, following his relentless abuse of partner Todd for months.
His body was found by a horrified Betsy Swain in the backyard of the corner shop during Corrie's first-ever flash-forward episode.
In June, viewers finally learned the identity of his killer, as during a tense dinner party, Maria Connor confronted her partner Gary and his ex Sarah by accusing them of having an affair.
In reality, it was revealed that Gary had helped Sarah to cover up Theo's death, after she hit him with a scaffolding which led to him plunging to his death.
