Alicia Silverstone was seen braving the elements in Ireland for the first time as filming began for the new murder mystery series, Corked.

The Hollywood star, 48, most known for playing Cher in Clueless, plays a divorce attorney named Fiona Furey (Alicia), who travelled to Cork from Los Angeles

They aim to uncover the truth behind her long-estranged father’s tragic murder.

Alicia braved the winds in just a white T-shirt, blue denim shirt and green wool coat.

In between takes, Alicia layered a large padded coat over her outfit.

Making it easier for her stylist, the Reptile actress pinned her blonde tresses back with a white hair clip. The filming reportedly started last month and is set to finish in December.

Christina Ray, Aaron Martin, and Mike O’Leary the show, with Molly McGlynn on board as the director, according to The Cinemaholic.

Alicia's character tries to unravel the murder mystery with a sentimental briefcase filled with cryptic clues he left for his daughter.

This is not the first murder mystery the actress has starred in as she recently in Reptile - which was hailed by Netflix views the 'best film in a long time'.

The movie - also starring Justin Timberlake and Benicio Del Toro - has been described as Netflix's 'best film in a long, long time' by some viewers, despite the critical reception being overwhelmingly negative.

Since its September 29 release on the streaming giant, Reptile has accrued a score of just 42 per cent on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.

But one viewer wrote on X: 'Reptile is Netflix's best film in a long, long time. Benicio Del Toro is brilliant, Alicia Silverstone is excellent & the story is gripping the whole way through.

One point of unity behind critics and those praising the movie was recognition of Benico Del Toro's performance as detective Tom Nichols (above)

Despite the hostile reception from critics, viewers described Reptile as '10/10' and 'Netflix's best film in a long time'

'Very good to see Justin Timberlake too. Highly recommend. One of my favourites of 2023.'

The praise for Benicio and Alicia is something which the critics generally agreed on despite low ratings, which were framed as despite those actors' efforts rather than because of them.

Rotten Tomatoes' critics' consensus reads: 'Strong work from Benicio del Toro and Alicia Silverstone isn't enough to make up for Reptile's convoluted and ultimately underwhelming story.'
