Cori Broadus Says Her Daughter’s Death Feels Like a “Bad Dream”

For his part, Wayne—who got engaged to Cori in 2023—also mourned the loss of his daughter on his respective Instagram account. 

"I been the saddest since u left me Codi Dreaux,” he wrote in a since-expired Instagram Story. “But I know u at peace. Daddy will always love you."

Snoop—who shares sons Corde, 31, and Cordell, 28, with his wife Shante Broadus as well as son Julian, 27, from a previous relationship—expressed his grief over his granddaughter’s death by sharing a Jan. 31 Instagram post of him, Corde and Cordell standing around Cori, captioning the image with a red heart and praying hands emoji.

The same day, Cordell shared a family picture on his Instagram Story, alongside the caption, “Lil sis, we got you forever.” 

Cori had recently celebrated her daughter’s release from the hospital, after her extended time in the NICU, following her birth.

“She’s home,” she wrote alongside the Jan. 6 Instagram carousel that featured snaps of her and her baby girl in bed. “Thank you for every prayer, every message, every ounce of love. God heard them all.”
