CoreWeave Expands NVIDIA-Powered Data Center Capacity in Denmark

CoreWeave announced its first Danish deployment at atNorth’s DEN01 data center in Copenhagen on October 27. The company has activated most of its planned 22.5 megawatts of computing capacity at the facility. This development strengthens its European operations and supports growing demand for high-performance artificial intelligence infrastructure.

The Copenhagen facility uses NVIDIA Blackwell systems alongside NVIDIA Quantum-X800 InfiniBand networking technology. These systems support large computing workloads and improve communication between processing units. Consequently, the expansion increases CoreWeave’s European footprint to nine data centers across five countries.

The company already operates facilities in the United Kingdom, Spain, Sweden, and Norway. Meanwhile, the Danish facility supports local energy efficiency through an agreement to reuse excess heat. The arrangement supplies surplus heat to Copenhagen’s district heating network and supports regional energy goals.

CoreWeave Extends Global AI Network Into Asia and Middle East

CoreWeave also announced plans to expand its international network across the Middle East and Asia Pacific. The expansion includes new network connection points in the United Arab Emirates, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, South Korea, and Japan. The company expects initial operations during the fourth quarter of 2026 and a complete network loop by mid-2027.

The network will connect CoreWeave’s infrastructure across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific. Each connection point will support multiple 400-gigabit-per-second links to handle large data transfers. Additionally, hardware encryption and backup network routes will strengthen data security and service reliability.

The company aims to build a global network capable of handling data traffic at petabit scale. This infrastructure will help customers transfer large datasets between regions and access computing resources more efficiently. Furthermore, the expansion builds on CoreWeave’s recent infrastructure announcements in India and Indonesia.

CoreWeave Stock Gains as Global Infrastructure Footprint Grows

CoreWeave’s international expansion follows substantial growth in its global data center operations. As of June 30, 2026, the company operated 51 data centers with more than 1.5 gigawatts of active power. During its August earnings call, CoreWeave also reported approximately 4.2 gigawatts of contracted power capacity.

The difference between active and contracted capacity highlights the scale of the company’s planned infrastructure development. However, CoreWeave must continue bringing additional facilities online to convert contracted power into operating capacity. Its expanding network also supports customers seeking computing services across multiple geographic markets.

CoreWeave has strengthened its market position through computing performance benchmarks and specialized infrastructure partnerships. The company reported leading MLPerf results for AI training and inference workloads using advanced NVIDIA technology. Its latest expansion adds international computing capacity and network connectivity as demand for AI cloud services grows.
