CRWV Stock Rebounds After ARK Purchase

ARK bought 239,083 CoreWeave shares across two exchange-traded funds on Thursday. The ARK Innovation ETF purchased 191,868 shares, while the ARK Next Generation Internet ETF added 47,215 shares. Based on Thursday’s closing price, the combined purchase was worth about $19.1 million.

The buying came as CRWV stock traded near its lowest level in more than a month. CoreWeave has faced selling pressure this week despite continued demand for AI computing capacity. ARK’s purchase added fresh institutional activity after the stock’s recent pullback.

CoreWeave Adds New Funding Options

CoreWeave announced plans to offer $3 billion of convertible senior notes due in 2033. Initial buyers can purchase another $500 million, which could lift the deal to $3.5 billion. The company can settle future conversions with cash, shares, or a mix of both.

CoreWeave also launched an at-the-market program covering up to 35 million Class A shares. The company plans to use part of the note proceeds for capped-call transactions and the remaining funds for general corporate needs. Management said the share program will add financing flexibility and support its credit goals.

AI Demand Supports CoreWeave Expansion

CoreWeave said it continues to sign three- to six-month computing contracts at higher prices. Those deals equal about $40 million in annualized revenue per megawatt. The company also added more than $25 billion in customer commitments early in the third quarter.

Contracted power increased from 3.7 gigawatts to 4.2 gigawatts by Aug. 11. Rosenblatt kept its Buy rating and $250 price target while pointing to strong spending on GPU infrastructure. A recent company update also said CoreWeave became the first AI cloud provider to validate and deploy Nvidia’s Vera Rubin NVL72 system for AI workloads. That same update reported second-quarter revenue of $2.58 billion, up 112% from a year earlier, as AI infrastructure demand remained strong. Sector pricing remains firm, with Nebius preparing higher rates for several Nvidia GPU, CPU, and memory resources from Oct. 1.
