Coleen Rooney cuts a sombre figure as she grabs breakfast with youngest son Cass, six, in Cheshire after husband Wayne was filmed letting a mystery woman into his rented apartment 300 miles away

Coleen Rooney cut a sombre figure as she was spotted in Cheshire on Monday after a new video has emerged appearing to show husband Wayne letting letting a mystery woman into his rented apartment down in Devon.

The I'm A Celeb star, 38, joined youngest son Cass, six, as they grabbed breakfast and she cut a casual figure in a navy hoodie and matching leggings.

Coleen, who also shares sons Kai, 15, Klay, 11, Kit, eight, with her husband, showcased her radiant complexion as she went make-up free.

The WAG tied back her brunette locks into a ponytail and slipped her feet into a pair of comfy white trainers while Cass wore an AC Milan football kit.

The pair called off at a coffee shop and grabbed some food which they ate it on the go while strolling down the busy street. 

In the new clip - viewed more than 2million times after being shared on X - Wayne, 39, is wearing a grey tracksuit and baseball cap and can be seen unlocking a door while a woman with strawberry blonde hair waits behind him. 

The woman’s face cannot be seen in the video, which then cuts to him inside the flat as he stands in front of a large TV next to a bare stone wall.

The former Man United star - currently manager of rock-bottom Championship side Plymouth Argyle - has been living in an upmarket rented flat in the Devon city since taking over as head coach of the club this summer.

While his loft-style apartment is luxurious and comfortable, it is a far cry from Rooney’s £20 million six-bedroom Cheshire mansion which boasts a snooker room, a home cinema, indoor swimming pool, an underground spa, wine cellar, a stable area with space for 14 horses and a football pitch.

Away from the training ground Wayne has regularly been spotted on nights out around the city including belting out Ed Sheeran songs during a karaoke night at the Cider Press bar in August.

But his ‘bachelor lifestyle’ hundreds of miles from home has also reportedly been causing concern to those close to him, including his wife Coleen.

Coleen recently spent a month in the I’m A Celeb jungle where she finished second behind Danny Jones of McFly.

While she was away in the Australian jungle their four kids lived with her parents due to Wayne’s work commitments.

One customer in a bar close to Wayne's rented home in the city previously told MailOnline that 'he comes in quite often for a few drinks', adding: ‘He’s definitely put on some weight since he’s been down here, maybe he’s getting stuck into the pasties.’

Isolated from his roots in Merseyside and after making a slow start to the high-pressure job, since arriving in the summer Rooney has been regularly spotted enjoying nights out in the city’s bars and nightclubs including quiz nights and karaoke nights belting out his favourite Ed Sheeran hits including Shape of You.

Video posted on social media shows Wayne urging the crowd to ‘make some f***ing noise, baby’.

Jarrod Styles, assistant manager of the Cider Press bar, said: ‘He was definitely a better footballer than he is a singer.

‘He was an ideal customer, he was just chatting to people then he got up and sang Shape of You. He was working the crowd telling everybody to join in.’

The nearby Rakuda Bar also shared photos of two different visits from Rooney on Facebook, describing him as 'Rakuda's new regular'

After losing 2-0 to fellow strugglers Oxford United on Sunday, Argyle are now winless in their last nine matches under Rooney and recently brought in veteran former Man Utd coach Mike Phelan as his assistant.

During her Im A Celeb stint Coleen gave rate insight into her 16-year to Wayne - whom she met when they were both 12 while growing up in Liverpool – has not been without its public scandals. 

The WAG, who married the football legend in 2008, revealed 'it wasn't love at first sight' when she first met him.

Sitting around the campfire, Coleen chatted to her fellow campmates GK Barry, Oti Mabuse and Jane Moore.

Oti asked: 'And it was love at first sight?' 

Coleen replied: 'No it was for him, not for me. He fought to get me, yeah. 

'I waited until I’d done my GCSEs and then I went on a date. I was pretty good at school.'

Opening up further about their first date at the cinema, she admitted: 'We had a kiss around the church first.'

Before going into the jungle, Coleen admitted the couple are already distanced – and 'barely see each other' – as he juggles his new job with family life. 

Since Wayne started managing Championship football side Plymouth Argyle in May, Coleen said their 'time together is limited' and they largely only see each other on Sundays.

Speaking to The Mail on Sunday after flying to Australia last week, Coleen described the toll the 260-mile distance between them is taking, with Wayne living most of the week in Salcombe, Devon – a five-hour drive from the family's mansion in Cheshire.

Before they tied the knot in a stunning ceremony in the village of Portofino on the Italian Riviera in 2008, Wayne admitted sleeping with prostitutes after being caught on CCTV at a backstreet Liverpool brothel. 

One was a 48-year-old grandmother known as 'Auld Slapper' who wore a rubber catsuit. 

Then came his threesome with two more, Helen Wood and Jenny Thompson, at The Lowry Hotel in Manchester in 2010.

Most recently, in 2017, he was caught driving Cheshire-based estate agent Laura Simpson's car while over the drink-drive limit. But Coleen has stood by him through all of it.
