Claim To Fame Season 3: Are Mackenzie & Hud Still Together?

Claim to Fame season 3 contestants Mackenzie Adkins and Hud Mellencamp had a flirty friendship during the show, but have they continued their relationship after wrapping filming? Mackenzie and Hud made it all the way to the finale, and began to work together towards the end of the season. When they made it to the final three along with Adam, they decided to team up to figure out who his celebrity relative was, but they ended up targeting each other during the final challenge due to their competitive spirits.

Despite suffering a head injury that almost caused him to have to leave the show early, Adam, who was revealed to be Michael Bolton's nephew, won the final Claim to Fame season 3 challenge, and he was able to figure out both Mackenzie and Hud's identities all on his own. Mackenzie placed third when Adam correctly guessed that she was related to country singer and actor, Trace Adkins (she's his daughter). He then won Claim to Fame season 3 when he correctly guessed that Hud was related to singer John Mellencamp (he's his son). Mackenzie and Hud make a cute couple, but are they still together?

Mackenzie & Hud Have Visited Each Other Several Times

Claim t o Fame season 3 aired a sweet montage of Mackenzie and Hud set to Claim to Fame season 1 runner-up Logan Crosby's song, "Girl Next Door" (shared via Instagram). After the show, in an interview with People, Hud said of his and Mackenzie's relationship, "We're just hanging out, seeing what happens." Mackenzie shared, "He visited me a few times in Nashville. I visited him [in Indiana]. Yeah, going well."

Mackenzie said that one of the things that she was most excited about going into Claim to Fame was that her fellow contestants would understand her because they share similar lives having celebrity relatives. She added, "Especially Hud, because both of us, it's our dad, and they're both musicians. It's just very similar. It's been amazing, so much fun getting to know everyone."

In an interview with EW, when asked if their relationship got steamier in the house than what was aired on TV, Hud answered, "In the house?" Mackenzie then said, "No. There were cameras everywhere. That was not... No. No." Hud added, "Ain't that type of show." Most importantly, when asked if either of them would say that they were currently single, they were both silent.

Mackenzie Says Trace Loves Hud

In his People interview, Hud revealed that his dad, John, flew to Nashville to Mackenzie's house for a Claim to Fame season 3 finale watch party, which Mackenzie's dad, Trace, also attended. However, he'd met Hud before. In the EW interview, Mackenzie said, "My dad has met Hud, and my dad loves Hud. I think the whole football and college thing really sealed the deal for him. My dad played football in college, and he was like, 'I liked that boy.'"

Although Mackenzie and Hud played coy in their interviews, it seems that they are headed toward becoming a couple. They're very sweet together, so hopefully their relationship will work out. Mackenzie and Hud make a great couple both on and off Claim to Fame season 3.
