And while the Australian singer has kept a lower profile in recent years, she resurfaced on the red carpet at the APRA Awards in Sydney on Wednesday.

She added a black blouse and bright slacks decorated with ornate, traditional designs.
Christine wore her salt and pepper hair in long braids and added a tortoiseshell arm cuff.
She finished the look with a pair of stacked white brogues and a smoky makeup look and pink shimmering lipstick.

In recent years, Christine has opened up about shedding an incredible 46 kilograms.
'(It was) emotional eating. You have to say nice things to yourself,' Christine revealed on Today Extra, explaining that she dropped weight from her heaviest of 106 kilograms.
Alongside gentle exercise including walking and overhauling her diet, the mother-of-two went on to explain the importance of self-love.
'(I was saying to myself) "I deserve to be healthy, I deserve to be myself, I deserve to be loved".'
Christine previously told Woman's Day: 'I've tried every diet under the sun but I've never tried the diet of self-love - and it really does come down to the relationship you have with yourself.'
The star, having been nominated for 17 ARIA Awards, weighed 106 kilograms at her heaviest, following her divorce from childhood sweetheart, Simon Deutrom.
'I was clearly very unhappy in my marriage and I just lost all self-control. I was eating drive-through takeaways in the middle of the night and eating at irregular times,' she told the publication.
Christine and Simon first met in school, and they finally wed in 2010 in a clifftop ceremony on Christine's native Torres Strait Islands.

But they confirmed their split in 2016 after six years of marriage.
In order to get down to 60 kilograms, Christine began dieting, meditating, dancing, walking and doing yoga.
The radio presenter said her biggest change, however, was altering her 'inner dialogue.'
'I started telling myself that I'm a good person, worthy of being thin and worthy of being happy,' she said.
