Chrishell Stause's Selling Sunset star ex Jason Oppenheim has offered a message of support amid her split from nonbinary Australian musician G Flip.

Stause, 45, who dated Oppenheim prior to her relationship with G-Flip, who was born Georgia Claire Flipo, announced her latest split in a tearful Instagram video on Tuesday morning.

Oppenheim has since posted a heartfelt message in the comments section, wishing his ex well and sharing some advice about recovering from heartbreak.

'I'm really sorry to hear this. I'm thinking of you and sending you my love,' the real estate agent wrote.

'You're both beautiful people and sometimes things just don't work out, but it certainly doesn't mean anyone failed,' he continued.

Offering a message of support, Oppenheim went on: 'There's probably nothing anyone can say to make you feel better right now, it might just take some time to process. But please know that you're very loved and I'm always there for you no matter what.'

Stause and Oppenheim began dating privately in around May 2021 before going public with their relationship in July that year during a trip to Italy with their Selling Sunset co-stars.

The couple were together for approximately seven months before announcing their split in December 2021, citing different goals around starting a family.

Stause went on to date G-Flip in early 2022 after the pair initially met at a Halloween party the previous year as friends.

It comes amid claims the cast of Selling Sunset 'weren't surprised' by the news of Stause and G-Flip's split.

According to TMZ, the cast believe Stause has a 'mean side' and has had many falling outs with cast members.

'We're told she has lost pretty much all contact with the cast since leaving the show,' the publication reported.

In contrast, the cast reportedly 'loved G Flip' and always felt the musician was 'nice and genuine'.

Stause went public with what she called their 'humbling' breakup in an emotional Instagram video that saw her wiping tears from her face.

'G and I are no longer together, and we have agreed to treat this public separation with love and respect for each other. That’s not hard for me because I am in love with this person.'

Perhaps most interestingly, Stause said that she doesn't 'have all the information or the reasons' for their split yet.

She continued: 'I’m sure, just like always, with time, you get the lessons you’re meant to get, and I know that will happen, and I’m gonna heal, and everything’s gonna be fine.

'I’m definitely never doing this again, but I just felt like you guys deserved a little bit more than a cold written statement because you have been so supportive and so loving, and we really appreciate that.'

The actress also heartbreakingly added that she feels 'like a little bit of a failure' after her second marriage ended up in a split. She was famously married to fellow actor Justin Hartley from 2017 to 2021.

Stause explained: 'There’s nothing you could say about me that would be worse than what I say to myself, so I just have to kind of heal and figure this out.

'It’s hard. It’s painful. I’m a lover girl. I swing big. I miss, or maybe I don’t miss.'

Regardless of their split and the circumstances in which it came remaining a mystery, Stause said she had an 'amazing over four years with G' as they go their separate ways.

She said: 'So maybe that’s not a miss, you know? I mean, it’s just coming to terms with it being a different ending than you had imagined. So, with all that being said, I wanted to give you guys a life update...

'I don’t know what I hope for myself. I just - it’s really hard and stressful to share this information because I’m kind of going through it.'

She then concluded the emotional video by addressing her now ex directly.

Stause said: 'I will always love G, and I don’t ever really see that changing.

'And this sucks, but everyone deserves to be happy, and I wish that for both of us. So thank you.'

Hours later, G-Flip responded with a statement of their own as they opted to not post a video response and instead shared a screenshot of a note.

It read: 'After 4+ years Chrishell and I are no longer together. I will always love her, we will always share a special connection and I cherish our memories together deeply [red heart emoji]

'My head & heart are feeling very heavy right now and I'm not able to talk but I want to thank you all for your support and appreciate you respecting our privacy at this difficult time.

Stause and G Flip exchanged vows in a legally nonbinding ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada back in May 2023

Stause and G-Flip exchanged vows in a legally nonbinding ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada back in May 2023.

At that time, insiders maintained the couple intended to eventually take the requisite steps to become spouses in the eyes of the law.

They held a grand total of four weddings over the course of their four-year relationship, including a medieval-themed extravaganza last July attended by such guests as celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton.

Now, however, sources claim that Stause and G-Flip never signed paperwork to make their marriage official, according to TMZ.
