During the Norway vs. France game at World Cup 2026, Channing Tatum was unrecognizable as Norwegian soccer player Erling Haaland with other look-alike fans as they cheered on the team from the stands.

Channing Tatum's World Cup Transformation Into Soccer Star Erling Haaland Deserves a Double Take

Channing Tatum is stepping up his World Cup 2026 wardrobe.

In fact, the Magic Mike star channeled Norwegian soccer player Erling Haaland for the Norway vs. France game at Boston Stadium on June 26.

Along with dozens of fans sitting in the crowd, Tatum rocked a jersey bearing the Scandinavian country's flag, as well as a long blonde wig slicked back into a ponytail similar to Haaland's signature hairstyle. Not only did the 46-year-old take twinning selfies with his seatmates, but he also joined them in a chant.

Though Haaland remained on the bench for the entirety of the 1-4 match—likely a team strategy to allow the striker to rest for his team’s upcoming game in the knockout stage—the 25-year-old was nonetheless flattered by Tatum's transformation.

"Handsome man," he quipped in a June 5 Instagram video, when Tatum first debuted his Haaland-inspired look for their joint Nike campaign. "I'm not complaining."

The athlete added with a laugh, "This is incredible."

Tatum was also amused by their resemblance, quipping in the caption of a June 6 Instagram post, "Ripped the script with my new stunt double."

And the Step Up alum has a long history with the game of soccer. After all, he played a high school soccer team captain in 2006's She's the Man opposite of Amanda Bynes.

"I definitely led on a little bit more that I could play soccer [better] than I actually could," he cheekily revealed in a 2024 interview with Entertainment Tonight. "But I pulled it off."

Tatum joked that he tried to "run and look really athletic during the shots," but ultimately relied on camera tricks to make him look like a star athlete.

He added, “I was like, 'Just cut away when I f--k up.'“

But Tatum wasn't the only celeb spotted in the stands at a World Cup game. Keep reading to see who else was spotted at the soccer tournament.
