Channing Tatum Strips Down in Shirtless Selfie After Zoë Kravitz Breakup
Channing Tatum is stepping up his dedication to acting.
The Magic Mike star shared a glimpse at the intense temporary tattoo removal process and hair transformation he's been undergoing while shooting the forthcoming movie Roofman, which is set to be released in October 2025.
In a photo shared to his Instagram Story Dec. 6, Channing snapped a shirtless self in the makeup trailer on set while two stylists stood over him with tools used to cover up his tattoos. And the 44-year-old also wore a hair net over his buzzed haircut in preparation to apply a wig.
Atop the image, Channing wrote, "Chaos of tattoo covering and wigs."
And that's not the only glimpse the Step Up actor has provided when it comes to his role in the upcoming crime drama, which also stars Kirsten Dunst, Ben Mendelsohn, Peter Dinklage and LaKeith Stanfield. Last month, Channing posted a selfie in another ensemble he wears in the movie, which included a ski mask, black leather gloves and a black jacket.
"Feeling cute," he wrote over the image. "Might fake rob something later."
Channing—whose engagement to Zoë Kravitz ended in October after three years together—is no stranger to talking about his ink. Last year, he revealed that he has five tattoos total, one of which he got in 2023 with his friends.
"I just got another little one," he explained in a Wired video at the time. "I got one with the Ranger boys."
As for his other designs? Channing also shared the story behind the words "side by side" that he got inked on his ribcage while married to ex-wife Jenna Dewan, who he finalized his divorce from in September, six years after their breakup.
"We always wanted to get a tattoo of something together," the actor—who shares daughter Everly, 11, with Jenna—told People in 2012. "We weren't going to do each other's names. We wanted to do something symbolic. It was in one of our vows to each other. We took it from that."
