Chainlink (LINK) traded near $12.24 on October 22, sliding from its October high of around $15.70. The move came a day after the network released its third-quarter review.

The report said more than $15 billion in token value moved to Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) during 2026. It also detailed new work with Swift and the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC).

CCIP 2.0 went live in the third quarter. The upgrade added security, compliance and settlement controls for institutions moving digital assets between blockchains.

Migrations included assets tied to BitGo and the Wyoming Stable Token Commission. Aave, Coinbase and xStocks expanded their use of the protocol, while Nethermind began moving its infrastructure to Chainlink.

Wyoming moved its FRNT stablecoin to CCIP in August after a security review. The commission picked Chainlink as FRNT’s only cross-chain provider under a multiyear deal.

Chainlink said CCIP now secures more than $85 billion in cross-chain token value. Cumulative transaction value enabled by its services passed $36 trillion, a figure that does not represent revenue.

Swift, DTCC and Government Work Expand

At the Sibos banking conference, Chainlink introduced Fulcrum. The service supports securities financing and collateral management across public and private blockchains.

Chainlink also announced a way to connect banks to Swift’s blockchain ledger through its Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE). Banks keep control of their transaction-signing keys.

DTCC’s Collateral AppChain will use CRE and Chainlink data services for collateral management. The review also described a transaction in which JPMorgan posted tokenized stock as collateral for margin with CME Group.

In September, Wyoming adopted Chainlink Proof of Reserve to share reserve data for FRNT across blockchains. Hong Kong’s Tokenized Securities Framework selected CCIP and Chainlink’s Automated Compliance Engine.

The Bank of England’s Synchronisation Lab showed CRE coordinating settlement between central bank money and tokenized assets. Polymarket, World and LBank adopted Chainlink tools for market resolution and payouts.

Chainlink’s Reserve added 1,543,330.47 LINK in Q3, bringing total holdings to 6,047,498.3150 LINK. Its Smart Value Recapture service passed $24.4 million in cumulative recaptured value.

LINK Price Tests $12 Support

LINK fell about 0.67% over 24 hours, according to crypto.news data. Its seven-day performance stayed positive at roughly 1.68%.

On the TradingView chart, LINK is grinding toward $12 after losing steam from the $15.70 high. RSI sits at 44.11, under 50 but not oversold, and the MACD line at -0.224 is still below its signal line at -0.121.

Sellers have the edge for now. If $12 cracks, $11 is the next spot bulls need to defend, while a reclaim of $13 would put $14 back on the radar. The key level to watch next is $12.
