Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little have already seen their successors announced at Channel Seven's upfronts on Thursday.

The pair, who sensationally canned their popular Hit Network radio show on Wednesday, will be replaced by Triple M stars Luisa Dal Din and Jack Archdale, known as Lu & Jarch.

Luisa and Jack, who have hosted Triple M's nationwide early Drive show since 2025 and also have a popular podcast, titled We Mean Well, will be at the helm at Hit's drive-time slot from 2027.

Hit says the duo have 'built a fiercely loyal, highly engaged audience through their podcast' and are expected to deliver 'hilarious, unfiltered takes on everyday life' when they take over at Hit Drive.

'It's been an incredible journey with Jarch so far, and joining Hit feels like the perfect next chapter,' Luisa said on Thursday.

'We're so excited to launch Lu & Jarch on Hit and to be part of our listeners' afternoons from 4pm.'

Jack said that 'getting the chance to take the next step with Hit is really special.'

'Lu and I have built something we're really proud of, and we're ready to have a crack at 4-6pm and make it our own,' he added.

Matthew O'Reilly, Seven Media Group's Head of Broadcast Content, said that Lu & Jarch will 'bring fresh energy to the Hit brand across Australia.'

'They have an incredible ability to connect with audiences, and what they've achieved in such a short time is remarkable, from building the hugely successful We Mean Well podcast to making an instant impact on Triple M,' he added.

Their new show will be heard weekdays from 4pm to 6pm across the Hit Network from Monday, January 18 and will also be available on the free LiSTNR app.

After almost a decade on the air together, the hosts of the Carrie & Tommy show called time on the drive-time program, with news of the exit breaking on Wednesday.

Bickmore's move to KIIS FM was confirmed at the upfronts.

She is officially defecting to the rival station, where she will replace Will McMahon and Woody Whitelaw, who front the Will & Woody drive-time show.

Carrie & Tommy, which is the third most-listened-to network radio program in Australia, will wrap up by year's end.

Bickmore tearfully announced her departure during Wednesday's afternoon broadcast.

'I've loved every minute of doing the show,' the emotional host told listeners.

'It's not every day you get to come and have a laugh and call it your job with your best mate and the funniest guy in the country, and that's what we've got to do for the last decade.'

Little called the ending of their partnership 'really sad'.

'It's certainly not how I wanted it to end. I love this job, and I would have kept doing it for a long time,' he said.

'But I don't always get my way, and I feel very grateful. I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity. I think we've had an amazing job to do.'

Inside Mail broke the news last week that Bickmore was eyeing an exit from SCA following the company's merger with Seven West Media.

Despite Bickmore being popular with advertisers and listeners, apparently SCA is 'quite happy to let her go' to KIIS Drive.

Little's future is less clear, amid murmurs of a bidding war between KIIS and the Hit Network.
