Cardi B shares first photos of child with NFL star Stefon Diggs as he turns one... and reveals bouncing baby boy's name

Cardi B has finally shared the first images of her fourth child and first with NFL star Stefon Diggs.

The 34-year-old rapper - born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar - took to Instagram to share a gallery of snaps of the bouncing baby boy as she also revealed his name for the first time which is Grey Marsean Diggs.

Grey is a gender-neutral name of British origin as it 'often symbolizes a blend of black and white, embodying qualities such as ambiguity, compromise, and maturity' according to Ancestory.com.

Cardi is no longer in a relationship with the 32-year-old Washington Commanders wide receiver as they split in February and appeared to rekindle their romance in May but had a very public spat and haven't been seen together since.

The Bodak Yellow rapper shares three older children with estranged rapper husband Offset including: eight-year-old Kulture, five-year-old Wave, and two-year-old Blossom.

Cardi captioned the gallery of images featuring her youngest child: 'Happy 1st birthday to Grey Marsean Diggs [two grey heart emojis]!!It’s only been 1 year since meeting you but it feels like I’ve had you at my side forever. 

'I carried you through one of the most uncertain high pressured times of my life but having you inside of me through it all gave me an extra strength. I was growing you inside of me and at the same time you were giving me life!'

She concluded the sweet caption by revealing what sunshine and levity her bundle of joy brings to her life. 

Cardi wrote: 'You gave a new meaning to what a Grey day feels like. You light up my life and every room with your smile your laugh and your precious spirit.'

As mentioned earlier, Cardi and Diggs' relationship seemingly fell apart again in May after video emerged of a spat they had.

Over Mother's Day weekend, the wide receiver was seen kissing the rapper - sparking rumors of the two getting back together.

But a week and a half later the two were seen in a tense argument outside a gym and coffee shop in Maryland in a video posted to social media.

The footage, which was published by TMZ, showed Diggs and Cardi in a tense encounter as the rapper gestured at the wideout.

A different angle of the footage appeared to show someone waving a bystander away after they tried approaching the two celebrities.

After the encounter - rumored to last at least ten minutes - went viral, Cardi tried to downplay the situation on her X account.

'Sometimes I forget I'm a celebrity… damn y'all ain't never cuss your babydad out when you hungry?' she wrote.

The two went public with their relationship in June 2025, but ended things in the run-up to Super Bowl LX in February.

In that time, Cardi gave birth to a son with Diggs which will keep the two of them in communication.

Last year, it was also revealed that Diggs learned he is the father of an Instagram model's baby girl after taking a paternity test.

The NFL player had initially disputed fathering the child with Aileen Lopera, known as Lord Gisselle on social media.

Lopera's lawyer, Tamar Arminak, told the Daily Mail at the time: 'Now that the child's paternity has been established and Mr. Diggs has acknowledged his daughter, my client hopes they can work together for the child's best interests.' 

Cardi was previously in a longterm, on-and-off relationship with Offset for nearly seven years.

They secretly got married in 2017 and have since welcomed three children together but called it quits for good in 2024.

Three years into their marriage, she first filed for divorce following infidelity rumors, but the pair ended up reconciling.

In July 2024, she filed for divorce for a second time and went on to start dating Diggs while Offset debuted a new romance too.

Cardi B and Offset have been entangled in a bitter divorce battle amid their ugly split.
