Get the latest on Pragmata, Monster Hunter, Street Fighter, and Mega Man
Image: CapcomCapcom, the publisher and developer behind Resident Evil Requiem, has announced it will hold a new Capcom Spotlight showcase on March 5. Now that Capcom's latest survival-horror blockbuster is out in the wild, the company can focus on its other upcoming games, including sci-fi puzzle-shooter Pragmata and role-playing game Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection.
The first Capcom Spotlight of 2026 will stream on Thursday, March 5, starting at 2 p.m. PST/5 p.m. EST/10 p.m. UTC. The showcase is planned to run for 30 minutes.
In addition to Monster Hunter Stories 3 (out March 13) and Pragmata (out April 24), Capcom promises updates on Street Fighter 6, Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection, and Mega Man: Dual Override.
Street Fighter 6's newest fighter, Alex, arrives on March 17. The one-time star of Street Fighter 3: New Generation is the third character to be released as part of Street Fighter 6's Year 3 Character Pass, which also includes Sagat, C. Viper, and the upcoming Ingrid, originally from Capcom Fighting Evolution. Alex was motion-captured by professional wrestler Kenny Omega — a fun fact.
Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection, coming on March 27, bundles seven games from the action RPG Mega Man spinoff series:
- Mega Man Star Force Pegasus
- Mega Man Star Force Leo
- Mega Man Star Force Dragon
- Mega Man Star Force 2 Zerker x Ninja
- Mega Man Star Force 2 Zerker x Saurian
- Mega Man Star Force 3 Black Ace
- Mega Man Star Force 3 Red Joker
Finally, Mega Man: Dual Override was announced at The Game Awards 2025 as the next mainline entry in the Mega Man franchise. The 12th Mega Man game will arrive in 2027 — the Blue Bomber's 40th anniversary — on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC via Steam, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Hopefully, Capcom Spotlight will give us more concrete details on what's next for Mega Man.
