Camp Rock 3 First Poster & Release Window Revealed For Disney+

Camp Rock 3 is taking the stage after many years.

Now, Disney+ has officially revealed the poster and release window for Camp Rock 3. According to the streamer, the anticipated sequel will come to the platform in August. The poster revealed a picture of all three Jonas Brothers, with their backs facing the camera as the Disney Channel and Disney+ logos sit on Nick Jonas' back.

As the poster shows, Camp Rock 3 will bring back the Jonas Brothers as the fictional band Connect 3. Whereas Joe took a more central role in the original Camp Rock, it seems like the trio will share the stage more equally in this legacy sequel. This reunion will be a major draw for the TV movie, capturing the nostalgia of a bygone DCOM era.

One actor notably missing from this poster is Demi Lovato. While Lovato is confirmed to be involved in the project as an executive producer, she has not been confirmed to be a part of its cast. While she could appear on-screen in a cameo role, she will not play a major on-screen part in the film.

Other actors from the original movie who are not returning include Alyson Stoner, who played Caitlyn Geller in the 2008 original. When asked about Camp Rock 3 shortly after its confirmation, Stoner revealed to E! News that she had no information on the project. Maria Canals-Barrera will be returning.

Instead, Camp Rock 3 features a largely new cast including Malachi Barton, Francis Burgos, Sherry Cola, Ava Jean, and Devielle Johnson. The movie is directed by Veronica Rodriguez with a script penned by Eydie Faye. Rodriguez has experience in the DCOM world, previously helping the network's 2023 film The Slumber Party.

It has been 16 years since the release of Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. As such, it will be interesting to see whether Camp Rock 3 can still maintain its audiences' attention after all these years. Disney Channel has been dipping their toes in more legacy sequel work with shows like Wizards Beyond Waverly Place.

Camp Rock 3 will be the perfect opportunity to see if such risks are worth their while.
