Benji Madden Makes Rare Comment on His and Cameron Diaz’s 5-Year Old Daughter
There's something about Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden.
The Charlie's Angels alum and the Good Charlotte rocker stepped out for a rare public date, enjoying a low-key shopping trip while out and about in New York City April 4.
Keeping it casual chic, Cameron wore an oversized black blazer over a white T-shirt and dark joggers for the outing, Meanwhile, her husband of 11 years donned a burgundy-and-orange plaid shirt paired with jeans and leather boots.
As they made their way down the street, Benji, 47, helped Cameron, 53, out by carrying a large black shopping bag.
And for the couple—who share daughter Raddix, 6, and son Cardinal, 2—they are perfectly content with keeping their life together out of the spotlight. In fact, Cameron considers herself to be a "perfect match" to Benji, who was first introduced to her by longtime friend and future sister-in-law Nicole Richie in 2014.
"The thing that I'm most grateful for in my life is our marriage and our family," Cameron told Benji's twin brother Joel Madden on his Artist Friendly podcast in 2024. "You know how much we've grown over the last decade together and how much we've accomplished. I don't know how either one of us would have done that without one another."
Comparing her busy career to a "rocket ship," the actress said Benji taught her how to refocus her energy and enjoy the moment.
"He really helped me figure that out," explained Cameron, who recently returned from a 10-year acting break. "We balance each other."

The sentiment is shared by Benji. As he put it in a 2025 Instagram post, "This is my QUEEN. I celebrate this BAD ASS WOMAN. Wife, Mommy, friend, partner, Boss, and lover."
"Every year only gets more fulfilling," he continued of their marriage. "It’s special. Never perfect- always real- always reliable. Every day getting to have my best friend with me ride or die….what a beautiful life- I am GRATEFUL!!!"
