EXCLUSIVE: CAA has hired former Insanity Management and Gleam Futures agent Georgia Katz.
Joining CAA’s UK-based creators division, Katz will represent digital-first talent and help digital content makers to build sustainable, multi-platform business in entertainment, media and brand partnerships. She will be based out of London.
Katz comes across from talent management firm Mokkingbird, and counts creators such as Olivia Neill, Flossie Clegg, Sam Thompson, Cardiff Mum and Tallulah Metcalfe during her career. She is known for helping creators push into broader entertainment such as podcasting, consumer products, live experiences and business ventures.
Hollywood agency CAA has been seeking build its UK creators division since at least December last year, when we reported that senior agent Brent Weinstein had been in Britain taking meetings with digital agents. UK-based CAA agent Glenn Miller has been leading on the work.
CAA’s recent signings out of the UK creators unit include William Hanson, Fin Taylor, Max Klymenko (The Career Ladder), Fallow Chefs, Jordan North, Vick Hope, Polyester and Sam Thompson, the latter of whom has worked with Katz in the past. Reality star and podcaster Thompson signed with CAA last month.
