The stage is set for the FIFA World Cup final halftime show, with BTS, Madonna, and Shakira signed up to perform at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium.
FIFA announced the lineup in an Instagram post, as preparations gather pace for one of the world’s biggest sporting spectacles, which kicks off on June 11 in Mexico City. The final will take place on July 19.
The World Cup final halftime show will be curated by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. It is staged in support of the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, an initiative working to raise $100 million to expand access to education and football for children around the world.
“Throughout the tournament, $1 from every ticket sold to FIFA World Cup 2026 matches will be donated to the fund,” FIFA said.
Viewers in the U.S. can watch the FIFA World Cup action on Fox in English and Telemundo in Spanish. The BBC and ITV share the rights in the UK.
