Brooklyn Beckham has deleted the awkward photo he shared of Damian Hurley with his arm around wife Nicola Peltz after fans mocked him for looking like a 'spare part'.

On Sunday the Beckhams' eldest son, 27, shared a carousel of photos from a Los Angeles Halloween party the trio attended together over the weekend.

One photo showed Brooklyn stood awkwardly behind his wife Nicola, 31, and their friend Damian Hurley, 24, who posed arm-in-arm while dressed in matching leather.

The photo sparked a stream of comments from fans. 'Bless him he looks like a spare part,' commented one on the Instagram post while another agreed, writing that 'Brooklyn looks so out of place'.

Brooklyn has now deleted the photo from his Instagram carousel, with just photos of himself and Nicola remaining in the post.

He also shared a pointed dedication to his wife on his Stories, posting a solo shot of the actress captioned 'my girl' and set to the soundtrack of the Ariana Grande song Dangerous Woman.

In a spooky coincidence, Nicola and Damian’s matching leather outfits were almost identical to the ones worn by Brooklyn’s parents David and Victoria in 1999, when he was just three months old.

Nicola’s Catwoman look – complete with bullwhip – and Liz Hurley’s son Damian, 24, thoroughly upstaged Brooklyn, who kept it simple with a Superman T-shirt and some big specs, in photos posted on Instagram.

'Brooklyn looks the odd one out,' said one commenter, while another determined he was 'giving 3rd wheel vibe'.

'Why is she wearing a matching costume with some other guy?' asked one of Brooklyn's followers.

Another pointed out that 'in this situation, a Batman suit would have suited Brooklyn better'.

'Nicola & Damian = couple goals' quipped one more.

David and Victoria Beckham's eldest son Brooklyn and Elizabeth Hurley's only child Damian have been friends since they were children and both have Sir Elton John as a godfather.

As well as partying in LA together, Brooklyn, Nicola and Damian all attended Sir Elton's husband David Furnish's 64th birthday celebrations in Venice a week ago.

Damian commented on Nicola's Instagram post from their Halloween night out, gushing 'i love you so much what a nighttt.'

He wrote a similar comment on Brooklyn's now-edited post, telling his pal 'I love thiss the best night.'

Brooklyn and Nicola celebrated seven years together on Thursday by sharing matching gushing posts.

However, hours later Brooklyn appeared upset by comments from his followers as he shared a photo of Nicola looking shocked and accompanied it with the caption: 'Yeah I am obsessed with my wife. Bring on the comments, I don't care. She's perfect xx.'

He added the fingers up emoji to further drum home his point.

Brooklyn had earlier posted a sweet public message for Nicola with a recent snap of himself kissing his wife on the cheek as she clutched a red £5,390 Chanel handbag, alongside a photo of two bouquets of flowers and a handwritten love letter.

He wrote: 'My beautiful Nicola, you mean absolutely everything to me.'

'You're my whole world, my best friend, and the most important person in my life. I'm so lucky I get to love you and spend forever by your side. I love you more than words can ever explain.'

But the post led some people to say they felt it was 'over performative'.

Followers wrote in the comments: 'From the guy who called his parents’ social media posts “performative”…

'Another millionth declaration.'

The couple have a number of anniversaries, including their April 2022 wedding date and their August 2025 vow renewal.

Thursday marked the anniversary of the start of their romance when the couple, who had previously been introduced at Coachella in April 2017, reconnected at a 2019 Halloween party hosted by Leonardo DiCaprio in Los Angeles.

Nicola shared her own Instagram tribute, telling her husband: 'Happy anniversary my love, my best friend, my everything.'

'I can't believe it's been 7 years by your side, I wouldn't wish for it any other way. i love you with my entire soul. i adore your love letters and morning coffees with our puppies please never change. i fall harder for you everyday.'
