Flatiron Books will publish the emotional empty nester's 256-page tome Brooke Shields Is Not Allowed to Get Old: Thoughts on Aging as a Woman with co-author Rachel Bertsche on January 14.
Brooke kicks off her seven-date book tour for her sixth literary effort the same day at the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre in Manhattan.
Shields will executive produce and star as intrusive gynecologist Dr. Wright in Arnon Manor and Kelsey Bascom's upcoming diabetes coming-of-age comedy Quarter, which prompted her daughter Rowan to publicly disclose her own Type 1 diagnosis.
'When the movie was brought to my attention, the first thing I did was talk to Rowan. I wasn't gonna be able to be in the movie and then not talk about it,' the Gracie and Pedro actress explained to Forbes in September.
'What this movie does accomplish is that it brings to light and really helps people understand [Type 1 diabetes] and helps people understand how to react to it and that it's okay to have those feelings of discomfort.'
Henchy - who was diagnosed at age 14 - is currently president of the College Diabetes Network, but she graduates college next spring.
Meanwhile, Rowan's flame-haired little sister is a full-on IMG Model posting paid partnerships for brands like Poppi and Tommy Hilfiger.
Quarter will also features Brooke's real-life BFF Ali Wentworth, Raven-Symoné, Eric Roberts, and Breckin Meyer.
