Brooke Hogan Says Relationship With Dad Hulk Hogan Was Never Same After He Had Sex With Her Friend
Brooke Hogan has a message for her estranged mom Linda Hogan.
The 38-year-old spoke out after her account of late dad Hulk Hogan's alleged affair with her former best friend Christiane Plante was refuted by Linda.
"I genuinely hope she finds whatever help and healing she needs,” Brooke told Us Weekly on Sept. 25. “She’s my mom, and I love her. But loving someone doesn’t mean allowing them to keep bullying you, publicly rewriting history or provoking you and expecting you to stay silent.”
Linda, 67, had commented under an Instagram post with her daughter's quotes about how her relationship with Hulk—who died in 2025 at age 71—changed after he had sex with Christiane, writing, "I was there and no he didn’t."
Christiane went public with the affair allegations in 2008, one year after Linda filed for divorce from Hulk. At the time, Christiane alleged to National Enquirer that she had slept with the wrestler when he and Linda "privately knew their marriage was ending.”
In response to the allegations, Linda's publicist Gary Smith told E! News in 2008 statement, "When Linda discovered Hulk had [an affair] with Brooke's best friend, Christiane Plante, she made the decision to call it quits on the marriage."
Denying rumors that the reason for breaking up with Hulk had to do with anything other than infidelity, the rep added at the time, "The real reason Linda filed for divorce, two words: HULK'S CHEATING!"
Hulk never personally addressed the cheating allegations prior to his death, though his publicist Elizabeth Rosenthal told ABC News in 2009 that WWE Hall of Famer's fling happened at a time when he believed his marriage to Linda—with whom he also shared son Nick Hogan, 36—was "irrevocably broken and over."

Brooke—who is mom to 21-month-old twins Molly and Oliver with husband Steven Oleksy—fell out with her parents prior to Hulk's death, with Linda confirming their family estrangement in an Instagram Story posted three months before his passing.
"Brooke doesn't talk to us," Linda said in a March 2025 video. "She's had twins. She got married, she didn't tell us."
Brooke later weighed in on why she became estranged from her dad, clarifying that they "never had a 'big fight'" but rather had a series of "respectful disagreements that took an emotional toll" on her health, prompting her to sever ties.
"I know in my heart I did everything I could," the Brooke Knows Best alum wrote in a July 2025 Instagram post. "He knew I would run through a burning building for him. And in many ways, along the path of life, I did. He knows how deeply, how hard and how purely I loved him. I am at peace knowing this."
