Harry Styles kicked off the 2026 BRIT Awards with the first ever live performance of his new single Aperture.
Rising British stars Olivia Dean and Lola Young will go head to head with the pair leading the nominations with five each, while Lily Allen is up for three honours.
The young women will compete for best artist and best song at tonight's ceremony in Manchester with Lily also in the running following the release of her revenge album West End Girl.
The BRITS head north from London for the first time tonight, with the awards staged at the Co-op Live arena. Comedian Jack Whitehall resumes hosting duties for a sixth times having last front the awards in 2021.
The ceremony is live on ITV from 8:15pm with live performances from Harry Styles, Olivia Dean and RAYE.

Two years after she broke the record for the most BRIT Awards wins in one night, Raye returned to the stage with a rendition of her new single Nightingale Lane.
The star also announced that her much-anticipated new album will be released next month
Wolf Alice call for funding to save small music venues
Singer Ellie Rowsell used her speech to thank the pubs and grassroots venues across the country where the band learne to play their songs.
Last year, 30 indpendent venues closed down, she said and adds that a career as a musician shouldn't feel like 'a golden ticket.'

Olivia Dean takes to the stage to perform her hit Man I Need
The singer, who attended the ceremony as a student of the BRIT School 10 years ago, took to the stage to perform her hit single.
A treat for K-Pop: Demon Hunters fans!
REI AMI, EJAE, and Audrey Nuna, who provide the singing voices for HUNTR/X in the Netflix global hit, perform their hit song Golden outside the Co-Op Arena.
It's a song no doubt parents across the country have heard on repeat since K-Pop : Demon Hunters broke streaming records when it hit Netflix in August.
And the winner of Song Of The Year is....
Sam Fender and Olivia Dean for their track Reign It In!
'I think this is a beautiful song and it's been a pleasure to be a part of it,' says Olivia, no doubt the first of many awards for her tonight!

Jack Whitehall starts the show with a racy opening monologue
The comedian, returning as host for the first time since 2021, was quick to call Manchester the 'G-spot of the North', and make nod to Lily Allen's blistering comeback album West End Girl, declaring it 'brought down a harbour' in reference to the end of her marriage to Stranger Things star David.
And we are underway as Harry Styles kicks off the ceremony!
