Bravo star reveals plastic surgery makeover and Ozempic weight loss after Real Housewives breakup

Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador's ex-boyfriend Earl Thompson has gone under the knife for an extreme makeover following their split.

The former couple met while filming Bravo's Love Hotel together, but ended things last year due to long distance and personality clashes.

Now Thompson, 61, has undergone a major post-breakup transformation by using Ozempic and getting plastic surgery.

Thompson went under the knife for a neck lift and an upper and lower blepharoplasty with Beverly Hills-based plastic surgeon Dr. Nicholas Nikolov. 

'I thought a glow-up would make me look as young on the outside as I felt on the inside,' he told Daily Mail.

'I had some excessive skin on my eyelids removed, had under my eyes done so the bags underneath weren't as noticeable, and I had a neck lift to tighten everything under my chin.'

Dr. Nikolov told Daily Mail that Thompson 'was concerned that he had started to look old and tired', so he focused on his eyes and neck to give him a refresh. 

'The goal was to give him a cleaner appearance and make him look more youthful and energetic while avoiding showing any signs of having had surgical help in getting there,' he explained.

'Cosmetic surgery in men no longer carries the stigma it did years ago. Men want to look better just like women do and are willing to undergo procedures to achieve that desire.' 

Thompson also lost around 40lbs during his time on Love Hotel through a combination of hitting the gym and using a semaglutide.

'Yes, I used GLP-1s to help reduce my appetite and lose the stubborn pounds that were tough to get off with diet and exercise alone,' he admitted.

While he's no longer in regular contact with Beador, he did say that he thinks she noticed how much slimmer he was looking at the Love Hotel premiere party.  

'Everyone else noticed and complimented me. I lost another 20 pounds since then, and now my face looks even younger after the surgeries with Dr. Nick, so I hope she would be happy for me,' he said.

Thompson did reveal that he reached out to Beador following the passing of her beloved golden retriever, Archie, but that he didn't hear back.

'Dating has not been a huge priority,' he admitted. 

'I've been so busy with all the fun things I'm doing like acting and voiceover work and all the events I'm doing,' he continued.

'However, I am looking forward to meeting the next love of my life. I know my beautiful late wife wants that for me. I know it will happen when the time is right or if I become the Golden Bachelor!'

As for more plastic surgery, Thompson said that he's done going under the knife – at least for now.

'At this point I am not interested in having anything else done because I like the results so much, but never say never,' he said.

Beador was one of four Real Housewives stars who searched for love on the first season of Bravo's Love Hotel.

She joined Real Housewives of Potomac's Gizelle Bryant and Ashley Darby, along with Real Housewives of New York City's Luann de Lesseps, as they looked for love while on vacation in Mexico. 

Beador quickly found a spark with Thompson, but the pair had their ups and downs throughout the season. 

'I did have a few hiccups with Earl,' Beador previously told Today.

'But there’s something about him that when we were together and things were good, it was really good,' she added.

The pair continued their relationship after the show ended, despite being based on opposite sides of the country.

'After the show, we talked every day. I went and stayed with him in Georgia. He came out to Orange County, but in the end, it didn’t work out.'

Beador is now preparing to return to the small screen in the upcoming 20th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County. 

The landmark season marks the return of original Real Housewife Vicki Gunvalson, as well as the addition of newcomer Carmella Garcia, who is a former Playboy model and WWE star.
