Brandi Glanville said that she is 'taking my face off' as the star prepares for surgery amid her facial disfigurement battle.
The 53-year-old TV personality, who recently revealed that her father passed away, got candid about the topic during Thursday's episode of her Brandi Glanville Unfiltered podcast.
The RHOBH alum revealed earlier this month that she was set to undergo a procedure, and confirmed on her latest podcast episode that the surgery will take place on Friday with Dr. Carlo Henrado.
Glanville explained that he 'is taking my face off on Friday and going to do an exploratory surgery to kind of do a power wash under my skin.'
The reality star added that the doctor 'knows where there are two definite spots, like either fungal balls or something alive.'
Glanville told her co-host James Maas that she believed that 'it's alive' and added 'it moves when it wants to.'

She said that Henrado 'comes highly recommended' as she gets ready for the surgery.
Glanville added that the doctor is doing the procedure for what insurance will cover as well as an additional $5,000.
'But I'm okay with that,' the media personality continued, before sharing how 'it started in her face' and then traveled to her head, neck and the spine.
'He's like, "If I can cut the head off the beast, the snake, then the other stuff we'll be able to get.'
Glanville noted that she was both 'excited' and 'scared' due to never having facial surgery done before.
The star explained that her doctor noted that it is not comparable to a facelift due to her upcoming procedure being 'more intensive.'
'He's, like, literally going in there with a power washer, basically, and knives and all this s***.'
Glanville added, 'And then he's spinning my blood and doing this platelet thing on the inside of my face.' She then said with a laugh, 'We might not want my blood at this point.'

A source claimed to TMZ that following the procedure on Friday, Glanville will undergo a 90-day antifungal IV treatment.
She will then allegedly have another surgery done to remove implants, the insider told the outlet.
Daily Mail has reached out to reps of Glanville for comment, but has yet to hear back.
Earlier this month on her podcast, the star told fans that she 'scheduled an exploratory surgery' to find out whether she has 'a fungus' or 'some sort of worm living in [her] face.'
It comes after Glanville spent four years and over $113,000 trying to treat what she believes is a 'facial parasite.'
She also recently revealed that she was diagnosed with a 'highly resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, Coccidioidomycosis (Valley Fever), Demodex dermatitis and Mononucleosis.'
Glanville explained on her podcast that 'balloons' will be placed into the Eustachian tubes in her face amid the procedure.
It will allow the doctor to look closely into the channels of bone and cartilage that connect the ear to the nose as well as the upper throat.

'They're going to clear that out so everything can drain. I'm pretty sure there's some sort of worm living in my face but they said it's a fungus.'
She added, 'Funguses are alive as well and it's going down my body.'
Despite being 'scared' over the surgery, Glanville expressed that she is 'excited to just get my life back.'
The RHOBH alum has received support from fans as well as close friends amid her health battle.
A pal launched a GoFundMe for the star, and Glanville has received financial support from a few Housewives.
The star shared in September that her health battle has also been isolating, and she stays at home 'all day, every day,' per TMZ.
