Brandi Glanville says that a lack of communication with her doctors over tumors and lymph nodes has made for 'a long time and a dark time' as of late.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 53, on her Unfiltered podcast June 25 followed up on her recent reveal that she had been diagnosed with a benign tumor in her face, which had partially led to facial disfigurement.
She said, 'It's frustrating because I feel like there's a lack of follow-through.'
The Salinas, California native told her guest co-host and manager, Gina Rodriguez, 'We saw the doctor last week who told me I have tumors in my lymph nodes, benign... and then he never called me.'
The reality star stressed that 'you have to advocate for yourself,' explaining the measures she went to, in reaction to her initial diagnosis.
The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Glanville for further comment on the story.

She said, 'That was just such bulls*** to me, because I spent out of pocket, I went to all these doctors, I've been on IV antibiotics, all this s***.'
The Bravo alum said she still doesn't 'have an explanation as to what is exactly wrong with me, and then this doctor not calling me after is like... I have tumors in my lymph nodes, isn't that kind of a big f***ing deal?'
Glanville, who is mother to two sons with ex-husband Eddie Cibrian, 53 - Mason, 23, and Jake, 19 - made a plea for further information from her doctors amid concern and confusion about her health.
'Listen, I love doctors, I need you guys in my life - please help me,' Glanville said.
Glanville has been to an array of medical professionals ranging from ENT doctors to infectious disease doctors to dermatologists, Rodriguez said.
'She's been to so many doctors,' Rodriguez said.
Glanville added, 'I want more tests - don't just send me for bloodwork,' adding that blood tests were costly and repetitive when she would see different medical professionals all requiring separate tests.
'Why am I sending my old blood work when you're just gonna make me do it over again?' Glanville said.

How much responsibility should doctors take when patients feel ignored or dismissed about their health?
Glanville said on a podcast last month that doctors told her she had 'a benign tumor in one of my lymph nodes in my face.'
She added, 'That could be why the fluid is going around my face. Every doctor that I've shown, they're like, "It's just scar tissue."
'I'm like, "From what? I haven't had a facelift yet." There's a lot of dismissing that goes on in the medical field.'
On the podcast, Glanville said that she had endured 'a long three years' amid a pileup of health issues.
