Key Highlights
- BNB Chain captured $3.62B in new real-world asset (RWA) value during 2026, claiming the top position in CryptoRank’s blockchain expansion analysis
- BNB currently trades near $731, approaching the critical $750–$770 resistance barrier
- The BNB Chain ecosystem witnessed a 15.6% surge in DeFi TVL over the past month, reaching $5.66B, while DEX volume jumped 65.5% in 24 hours
- Global onchain RWA valuation has surpassed $39B, representing over 50% expansion since January 2026
- Despite placing fourth in 2026 growth metrics, Ethereum maintains dominance in total RWA market share
BNB is currently hovering around the $731 mark following a strong rebound from its August bottom. The digital asset briefly reached $770 in early September before encountering selling pressure, with bulls now confronting a decisive challenge at the $750–$770 zone.
BNB PriceThis recent upward movement helped BNB escape a prolonged consolidation phase that dominated the summer months, during which the token remained confined between $560 and $625. Momentum accelerated as price cleared the $700 threshold, though forward progress has now encountered resistance at the next supply layer.
Trading analyst Daan Crypto Trades (@DaanCrypto) identified BNB as “easily one of the stronger and better looking majors,” highlighting its ability to bounce swiftly from pullbacks while maintaining a robust uptrend since July. He referenced BNB Chain’s re-engagement with the US market as a possible growth driver, suggesting it “could be a solid runner into the end of the year.”
A sustained daily close above the $750 mark would signal renewed buyer dominance in the near-term price structure. Breaking through $770 would indicate successful absorption of overhead supply and establish $800 as the subsequent significant objective.
Conversely, inability to secure $750 could send BNB retreating toward $720. A decisive drop below $700 would undermine the breakout thesis and expose the $680–$690 support zone.
On-Chain Metrics Show Momentum
BNB Chain’s network activity has strengthened in tandem with the price advance. Total value locked in DeFi protocols climbed to approximately $5.66 billion, marking a 15.6% gain across the 30-day window. Decentralized exchange volume over 24 hours reached roughly $2.25 billion, representing a 65.5% increase compared to the previous seven-day baseline.
Transaction fees generated about $4.55 million during the 24-hour period, while protocol revenue totaled approximately $1.69 million. BNB Chain also commanded around 14% of aggregate on-chain DEX activity in early September.
Real-World Asset Leadership in 2026
According to CryptoRank analytics released on September 11, BNB Chain secured first position for RWA value expansion in 2026, recording a $3.62 billion gain. Solana claimed second place with $2.66 billion, while Stellar followed with $2.50 billion and Ethereum registered $1.6 billion.
Avalanche occupied the fifth slot with $1 billion in RWA growth. ZKsync and Monad completed the rankings with $750 million and $370 million respectively.
While Ethereum ranked fourth for 2026 growth performance, it continues to maintain the largest overall allocation of RWA value among all blockchain networks. Aggregate onchain RWA valuation has crossed the $39 billion threshold following more than 50% growth throughout 2026.
CryptoRank’s methodology tracks dollar-denominated growth exclusively and does not incorporate baseline values or comprehensive asset classifications. BNB presently trades at $731 with the $750 threshold representing the immediate hurdle for bullish continuation.
