Airing from 2004 to 2012 and consisting of a whopping 366 episodes, BLEACH is one of the most iconic manga and anime series of all time. The story follows Ichigo Kurosaki, a teenager who obtains the powers of a Soul Reaper - a death personification similar to the Grim Reaper - who must now use his abilities to defend humans from evil spirits and guide departed souls to the afterlife.

Now with the direct sequel, BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, ending back in July 2026, fans are left wanting more of the beloved franchise and, luckily, a major release is just around the corner.

Ichigo in part 3

Set following the events of BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, BLEACH Mirrors High is a mobile game featuring original character designs by creator Tite Kubo. Set to launch later this year, its pre-registration is now available alongside a stunning teaser trailer.

With the story set to follow the concluding arc of Tite Kubo's BLEACH manga series, BLEACH Mirrors High also welcomes a fresh cast of characters who join the likes of Ichigo Kurosaki and Rukia Kuchiki alongside their original Japanese anime cast.

"Take your place as the protagonist, begin your journey as a Soul Reaper, and step into battle to experience the story as the Soul Reaper you've always wanted to be!" The official game synopsis reads.

FORGE YOUR UNIQUE SOUL REAPER

Through deep avatar customization, you have the power to create your own character:

〉Make the character truly yours.

Featuring stylish and tactical combat, players will be able to perform lightning-fast and strategic combat by leading a squad of three characters into battle. By combining attack cards, a whole range of combat possibilities will be unlocked as players can "execute explosive combo attacks to completely change the course of battle."

 Mirrors High

In BLEACH Mirrors High, players can expect a brand-new story, deep customization, tactical 3v3 team battles, and lots more, and, as mentioned, pre-registration is now open and unlocks a whole bunch of must-have rewards.

This includes the following milestone reward: "Once 500,000 registrations are reached, all players will receive 3★ [Substitute Soul Reaper] Ichigo Kurosaki and 3★ [Squad 13 Lieutenant] Rukia Kuchiki upon the game's release. Players will also receive up to 6,000 Mirror Stones (equivalent to a 20-pull gacha) along with items to help train their characters into battle-ready fighters."

Last but not least, a Twitter/X campaign is currently running which will see five lucky winners receive an exclusive Metal Art Plate by following the official BLEACH Mirrors High account.

So, if you are eager for more in the world of BLEACH, look no further than the launch of BLEACH Mirrors High and get stuck into another official story.
