Bitwise Solana Staking ETF surpasses $1B in inflows

1 hour ago 7

Bitwise’s Solana Staking ETF has crossed a milestone that most crypto investment products only dream about. The fund, trading under the ticker BSOL, has pulled in over $1 billion in inflows and recently posted its highest trading volume on record.

BSOL has become the dominant force among US spot Solana ETFs, accounting for roughly 81% of the $1.06 billion in total inflows across all such products.

The staking edge

What makes BSOL different from a plain-vanilla crypto ETF is right there in the name. The fund stakes nearly 100% of its Solana holdings in-house through Bitwise Onchain Solutions, using infrastructure built on Helius technology. That staking process generates yield for investors on top of any price appreciation in SOL itself.

The current net staking rate sits around 5.82%.

Cumulative net inflows into BSOL reached approximately $861 million by late May 2026. As of late August 2026, the fund reported weekly net inflows of $20 million, with total assets under management hovering around $770 million. The fund holds over 8.46 million SOL tokens.

How Bitwise outmaneuvered the competition

When BSOL launched on October 28, 2025, it carried the distinction of being the first US spot exchange-traded product to combine direct Solana exposure with built-in staking.

Bitwise priced the product aggressively. The sponsor fee was set at a competitive 0.20%, and even that was waived entirely for the first three months on the initial $1 billion in assets. Staking fees were also waived during that promotional window.

That pricing strategy paid off in the form of trading volumes that exceeded tens of millions of dollars daily in the weeks after launch.
