Binance to shut down Binance Pool and related mining services on November 10

4 hours ago 8

Binance is closing its mining pool. The exchange announced on October 13, 2026 that Binance Pool and a cluster of related services will be discontinued on November 10, 2026, at 07:00 UTC.

Miners using the service have been told to move their equipment to another pool before that deadline. After the cutoff, hashrate submitted to Binance Pool will no longer be accepted, and shares will no longer be credited.

What is going away, and when

This is a full wind-down, not a single product getting trimmed. Binance listed several services that end alongside the pool itself:

Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, and the Transaction Accelerator are all on the list.

The support tooling goes too. Telegram hashrate alerts, email notifications, and the mining pool APIs are all being retired.

The timeline breaks down into a few key dates:

October 13, 2026: Binance announces the discontinuation.

November 10, 2026, 07:00 UTC: Binance Pool and related services stop. Hashrate submissions and share crediting end.

November 24, 2026: The Binance Pool webpage closes permanently.

That gives miners 28 days from announcement to hard cutoff.

What happens to rewards and records

The exchange says eligible prior rewards and balances will continue to be processed under its existing guidelines. Earnings accrued before the shutdown are not being wiped out by the closure itself.

Any machine still pointed at Binance Pool past 07:00 UTC on November 10 is effectively mining into a void, since its shares will not be credited.

For record-keeping, Binance is leaving the Binance Pool webpage up for two extra weeks, until November 24, 2026. During that window, users can still view historical data, account records, and payment statuses. After that, the page goes dark for good.

The Brazil backdrop

The shutdown follows another recent restriction from Binance. The exchange has moved to limit access to several services for users in Brazil, including Binance Pool, starting October 27, 2026.

That Brazilian restriction is tied to compliance with new central bank regulations in the country. It means some users in Brazil lose access to the pool roughly two weeks before everyone else does.

Binance has not linked the global pool closure directly to the Brazilian rules in the material it published. Initial coverage of the announcement has not pointed to any immediate market price reaction.

What this means for miners and the pool market

The most direct effect lands on the miners who were using Binance Pool. Their to-do list is simple in theory and fiddly in practice: choose a new pool, update every machine’s configuration, and rebuild any monitoring that depended on Binance’s alerts or APIs.

Cloud Mining customers face a different kind of adjustment. Those users were renting exposure to mining rather than running machines, so for them the shutdown removes a product entirely rather than requiring a configuration change.

The practical checklist for affected users is short. Switch pools before November 10 at 07:00 UTC, rebuild monitoring tools, confirm prior balances are processed, and download historical records before November 24.
