Bill Melugin will anchor a 90-second news brief produced by Fox News that will air on Fox’s 18 owned and operated stations daily at 5:58 p.m. ET.
The Fox News Report will also be available to Fox affiliated stations, with the briefs set to debut on Feb. 23. Melugin will anchor from the Fox News Washington, D.C. bureau
Melugin was recently promoted to Fox News’ congressional correspondent, after joining the network in May 2021 as a correspondent on the west coast, where he covered the border and immigration, among other issues. He also covered the 2025 wildfires and the 2022 mass shooting in Uvalde, TX. He previously was an investigative reporter for Fox’s KTTV-TV affiliate in Los Angeles.
The news brief is meant to complement local news programming.
Fox Broadcasting stations also carry Fox News Sunday, the weekly talk show hosted by Shannon Bream.
