Tilly Whitfield tried her hand at tattooing her own face back in 2021 in an attempt to acquire trendy freckles.
The 25-year-old was hospitalised with horrific facial injuries from a hack she copied from TikTok, her face scarred and disfigured after self-administering acupuncture and using lead-based ink to add black dots to her cheeks and nose.
The Big Brother Australia star also temporarily lost vision in one eye after trying to remove the resulting scarring.
And now she's creating her very own DIY at-home freckle kit after learning the hard way what works, and what doesn't.
'I've done so many dumb things like DIY myself, so we are just starting a whole DIY brand at home,' she told news.com.au.
The freckle line is set to launch 'by the end of the year,' the former reality star said.

Revisiting her tattoo disaster this week, Tilly again left social media users shocked as she shared the aftermath of her attempt to tattoo freckles onto her face.
She had used lead-based ink, leaving her with permanent scarring and temporary loss of vision in one eye.
The incident made international headlines in 2021, with Tilly's original video amassing millions of views.
The public response was no less horrified as the clip again did the rounds this week.
'Why would anyone do that?' asked one person in the comments section, while another said, 'Why would you? My god.'
Another wrote: 'It should NOT look like that at all… what did they DO?!'
'Why would a person ever consider this?' asked someone else, while one more commented: 'Why the hell are people doing this?'
Tilly issued a warning to others who may want to try DIY freckle tattoos.

She had attempted to self-administer acupuncture after watching somebody do it on TikTok, but told fans to leave such procedures to the professionals.
She decided to open up about the incident after Big Brother fans kept asking why she was wearing a blue clay face mask on the Channel Seven show.
'Please, please don't try and DIY or at-home beauty procedures,' she said.
'I ended up in hospital with temporary loss of vision in my eye due to swelling and was very sick from the infection, not to mention my face was somewhat unrecognisable.'
Tilly explained she suffered 'deep, below-surface-level scarring and dark pigmentation' following the botched treatment.
