Big Brother 28: Week 3 Nominations Made By HOH (SPOILERS)

Big Brother 28's third week is keeping the power within The Toolshed alliance, meaning the other side of the house will once again be targeted with Kamu taking the Head of Household and placing a new trio of nominees on the block. Throughout the run of Big Brother 28 thus far, Kamu has been working with Survivor stars Dee Valladares and Rick Devens, along with Haley and Chuk to form the Red Corner alliance. While Dee and Devens were also originally in The Crossovers alliance with Angela Murray, Barrett, and Drew, both alliances came together to form a solid majority.

The Toolshed has now had power for the first three weeks of the game, and while Kamu's Head of Household is likely to be a calmer one, there's a lot that could happen as the power shifts from a veteran reality TV star to a newbie for the first time this summer. Kamu hasn't played Big Brother in the past, and it doesn't seem like he was a fan of the show before being cast, so he may not want to rock the boat in a way that changes the game too much over the course of the next week.

After being crowned Head of Household, Kamu made it clear that he was excited to chat with the people in his alliance in order to figure out what their best plan of attack would be through the week. With the power shifting from a rookie to a veteran, but not changing hands from one side of the house to the other, Big Brother 28 will see some changes in the tides this week, but if Kamu's nominations hold, things will unfortunately be sticking to the same status quo they've had throughout the first two weeks of the game thus far.

Big Brother's HOH Kamu Nominated LaTrice, Lyric, & Mallory For Eviction

During the week's nomination ceremony, Kamu decided to target the other side of the house once again, putting LaTrice, Lyric, and Mallory on the block. While Kamu's original plan for the week was to target Jason upfront, Drew gave him the idea of utilizing the backdoor strategy after Jason took the most recent BB Blockbuster competition and won his safety in the game. While LaTrice, Lyric, and Mallory are each people that Kamu would consider to be part of the opposition, his real target is Jason, so he's hopeful that this week's Power of Veto will be won and used.

This week's initial nominations are an interesting mix. While Lyric and Mallory have both already been on the block, both have been saved with the Power of Veto over the course of the first two weeks. Mallory won the Power of Veto during the first week of competition, saving herself from the nomination block and making it clear that she's a competitor. During the second week of competition, Devens won the Veto and chose to take Lyric down, replacing her with Rome who ultimately left the Big Brother house by a vote of 12-1 during the last live eviction episode.

LaTrice is the only person who's on the block for the first time, and after an emotional week for her last week and with her emotions consistently running high so far, she may struggle as the days continue. While it's likely that if Kamu and the nominees all want the Veto to be used, it will be, there's also a chance that someone will win the Power of Veto and find themselves tempted to keep the nominations the same. Depending on the Veto results, one of the three women on the block could be evicted from the Big Brother house.
