Danielle 'Bhad Bhabie' Bregoli had no involvement whatsoever in a crash that occurred in Tarzana, California on Saturday.
The 21-year-old was initially reported by the TV station KTLA as being the registered owner of a Lamborghini Urus that caught fire following a crash which came at the end of a police chase in the San Fernando Valley early Saturday.
An editor's note on KTLA's website clarified the confusion, with the station saying, 'We regret the error.'
The note said that while 'initial reporting from the scene indicated the vehicle belonged to a local rapper, Bhad Bhabie,' the 'registered owner' of the vehicle told the station 'that was not the case.'
The station initially reported erroneously that the person driving the Lamborghini was the brother of the social media star, according to a report from TMZ.
But Bhad Bhabie's mother Barbara Bregoli told the outlet that the social media star does not have a brother; and 'was safe and sound at home at the time of the accident.'

The outlet, citing video taken at the scene, reported that nearby Good Samaritans helped rescue the male driver, who was subsequently arrested and hospitalized.
The latest incident comes about a month after Bhad Bhabie took to social media November 7 and said she has been diagnosed with cancer.
Amid speculation about her weight, Bhad Bhabie said in an Instagram Stories post, 'I'm sorry my cancer medicine made me [lose] weight.'
