The partnership puts rings on Team USA members' fingers and includes research collaboration to investigate performance and support athlete success. Oura will be the team's exclusive provider of health-tracking wearables. It has pursued similar partnerships with other American fixtures, including the Department of Defense, to study human potential and its health-tracking capabilities.
The Olympics partnership not only reflects the growing role of wearable technology in accurately tracking and optimizing health outcomes, but also underscores Oura's top dog status in the health tech space, as competition abounds and the market heats up.

Since 2024, Oura has supported several Team USA National Governing Bodies, including US Ski & Snowboard, USA Hockey, US Speed Skating, and Women's Soccer.
How partnerships inspire new features
These partnership opportunities aren't just good for Oura's exposure. It also allows the company to further investigate key features of the smart ring, such as its ability to connect different areas of health, including sleep, activity, diet, recovery, and more. Oura did as much in 2025, when it studied sleep therapy, recovery, and the US Speed Skating and Women's Soccer team's ability to sustain peak performance throughout training and competition. In the past, Oura's studies have led to the launch of new features.

"Oura is proud to support Team USA by reinforcing the importance of sleep, recovery, and overall wellbeing as foundational elements of athletic performance and competition readiness," Ricky Bloomfield, chief medical officer at Oura, said in a press release, "while also creating an opportunity to generate real-world evidence that can help elite athletes prepare for and perform their best in the Olympic and Paralympic Games."
The partnership also means you'll be seeing a few Oura commercials as you watch your favorite Olympic sports this season. A press release indicates that the smart ring brand is supporting NBCUniversal's multi-platform coverage of this year's games and the LA28 Games.
